To add more to my post. John Calipari had UMass, yes Umass who has sucked since he left. The three years before Camby even joined. He has UMass ranked in the final poll those 3 years before Camby. 17th, 14th and 8th. That doesnt seem like he needed Camby to make UMass a top 20 team. Camby just pushed them to the top. If he stayed at Umass, they probably become a consistent top 10 team. At Memphis the years before he got a superstar like D...

You all would have strong cases of 2011 and 2014 never happened. 2011 final four and 2014 national runner up. King of kills your alls have to have super stars for him to do well. Those two teams probably had overall less talent than this current UK team and didnt have superstars like a Wall, Davis, Towns, MKG, etc. Yet still made deep runs. So those years kind of kill yours all theory. Since you all are already saying it for this year at the...

No doubt about it. Always interesting seeing the over the top comments after losses. Yes this team has a lot to get better at still. Imo the defense is getting better. Some of those shots SH made today were tough shots, where you just have to tip your hat to them. Defense is still not great but is getting better. At the end of the day. I ask people besides 2013. Has their been any season since Cal has been here. That he has had a team not...

Hmmm hard to say that imo. I wouldn't say the 2011 team was said to have a superstar on the team at the beginning of the year and they made the final four with Josh Harrellson playing center. 2014 didnt have a true superstar as you said and they made the finals. This years team definitely has enough talent. Just have to put it together still.

That is not correct. If a team wants to move a practice squad guy up to the available roster. Then they have to cut a guy to do so.

I don't think UCF is a top 4 team, but I do think they win this game. IMO Auburn was a better team last year than this LSU team, and UCF beat them. I know they have a different QB now, but he is very athletic. These small schools usually perform pretty well when they get a shot in big bowl games. They all have a chip on their shoulder. Even Utah before they joined a P5 conference knocked of Nick Saban's Bama team in the Sugar Bowl. A...

It definitely about the money for why their are not more. Currently teams have 61 players on their rosters, when you include practice squad guys. They get up to 90 in the off season. However it's not just about owners not wanting to spend more money. If I had a guess the Players association wouldn't want teams to have to add more players too. The reason is players already don't like how baseball and football star players make so much more...

Very true. 3 or 4 years from now OSU may be really struggling under Day and what looked like would be a tough game for Notre Dame will be walk in the park. Which would make people question Notre Dames win since OSU ended up not being very strong.

The Steelers still have the Patriots and Saint to play. They very well could have 6 losses going into the last game of the year against the Bengals. While the Ravens still have the Chiefs and Chargers. Plus a Bucs team, which you just never know what version of them you will get. Don't look now if the Bengals can win 3 in a row, the Bengals could be playing for the AFC North Championship against the Steelers the last week of the...

Huh? Ogbuehi and Fisher yes. Dennard and Jackson no, especially Jackson. Dennard when healthy hasn't been that bad, and Jackson last year was one of the best in the NFL, this year in his second season playing hasn't been as good but still not bad. Definitely far from a bust. The two lineman though, yes are bust big time.

Imo both UK and Penn State are overrated. I think they both are 10 spots to high with Penn State slightly better though.

So if you think UK scores 34. That must mean you do think Wilson will throw it well. Because if he doesnt, no chance UK scores 34.

Well here is why OSU fans cant say they would go undefeated with Notre Dames schedule. OSU the last 2 years have shown they have a tendency to go on a road to a bad to average team and get corn stomped. So chances are they may have lost on the road to a bad Virginia Tech team at night in that tough environment. Because OSU has shown to let down in games like that.

It's amazing how a top qb can truly elevate a team. Without Watson they are horrible. Put him on the team and they are a super bowl contender. Must be nice.

Special teams is a straight disaster. Special teams is also the reason why dang Core is still on the team. He dropped at least 3 more passes today. Yet he keeps playing. The special teams sucks with him anyways. So at least keep a wr who can contribute in some way on offense if need be.

Sometimes I don't think it's the worst thing in the world that a guy doesnt throw the ball right away to basically first read all the time. Driskell spread the ball around to a bunch of guys today and had some very nice throws to Boyd down the seam, where he put it in tight windows. So I agree not great by any means. But I liked the potential I seen in him, especially once he does get more experience as you said. I would like for them to not...

I would love him in Cincy. Much like Andy Reids time ran out in Philly, and just wasnt buying in anymore. He showed he was still a good coach and needed a fresh start. I think we could see the same with him somewhere.

Doubtful. He probably would get a job this off season if he wants it. While yes he burned the Colts. At the end of the day teams want to win. If they believe he would give them the best shot, they still will hire him. This is a league where coaches get second and even third chances all the time.

Here is my thing. Give Notre Dame OSUs schedule and Notre Dame is probably still undefeated. Especially since two of the best teams OSU beat Notre Dame already beat. So I dont see how anyone can say OSU is better. OSU is more flashy yes, flashy doesnt mean better. As an all around team Notre Dame is better than both Oklahoma and OSU. If Notre Dame plays Georgia's schedule I think they only have one lost and that's Bama. I definitely dont...

Notre dame beat Michigan when they had a qb who couldn't throw still starting, and still the game was never even in doubt.

So the Irish are overrated for already beating the same teams OSU. Are they overrated because they didnt get curb stomped by LSU? The same LSU Notre Dame beat last year. So where exactly are they overrated? And what exactly has any of the teams behind them done to show they should be ranked over Notre Dame? Because I guarntee there is plenty to show why those teams are behind Notre Dame.

I love that most arent giving Notre Dame a shot. Notre Dame is built more like the Bama teams who won titles a few years ago. A good defense with future NFL players. An offense with big running backs and Wrs and a good accurate passer at qb. Notre Dame 27 Clemson 24

If anyone watched at all. How was their no flag when Boyd got hit and caught it as a defenseless receiver, but on the exact same play there was when the Bengals hit Sanders? The only difference is Boyd held onto it after he took the big hit.

I thought Driskell did ok not great with the Bengals very conservative game plan. He made some really good throws into small windows we dont see much of around here. However he then also has a very stupid play and just throws the ball up for an interception. So not great not bad. I hope the Bengals come out and be aggressive the rest of the year. They are basically done now. So literally nothing to lose. Cut him loose and see what happens.

Defense played better not great. Biggest play was Erickson fumbling the punt return in a 7 to 3 game in the third quarter.

Nope having that timeout allowed them to use the whole field including the middle of the field on the last play of the game. They could have thrown for a first down am anywhere on the field because they would have still had that timeout to use.
