You answered your own question about why he should stay, when you mentioned the injury. Yes the injury bug could happen at anytime. However, if the injury bug happens in college, and is a big injury that hurts his future. Then he may lose out on millions. When on the flip side if he is a lock for the first round this year, even if its late in the 1st round. He gets a guaranteed contract, and even if he gets hurt. He still is now a millionaire. ...

Which makes me wonder how truly good he at this moment as a basketball player. As an athlete he is outstanding. However where would he have fit in on this current team? He wasn't going to take minutes away from Fox, or Monk. Cal loved all the little things Briscoe brought to the court. Then Hawkins off the bench was huge. So makes me think he wasn't completely standing out even in practice against the starters. So it wasn't going to help him by...

While I also don't think he will ever make it. Let's not forget he hasn't played baseball in what over 8 years before last year. Most of us no matter how good of a baseball player we were in high school. Would be able to pick up a bat and hit for average against average to good high school pitching. Much less a pitcher in A ball. I think what he is doing this year is very impressive. You would think he would get better with the more...

Basically this means Winston will get hurt. Fitzpatrick has been very lucky. Wherever he ends up, he ends up playing. Even if he goes to a team to be a backup.

I don't think even McGregor truly thinks he will win, unless he can get lucky and get that one big punch in on Floyd. However Floyd never lets people truly get a good hit on him. Its very simple they are both great fighters/boxers etc. However they are both even better businessman. McGregor knows he will make more money in this one fight win or lose against Floyd, than he will his whole UFC career. Its a win/win for him. He loses, and he can...

I think it's gone down hill, because they don't give to many guys Championship runs. Dolph Ziegler I think would do a great job as the Champ as a heal or a face. They wasted Daniel Bryant imo but not really giving him a true championship run. I think they waited way to long before finally giving Bray Wyatt a Championship. I love his character, and they could have built his character up even more earlier in his career with a championship run,...

I see what you are saying. However what you are saying also rarely happens in the NFL. Those guys go out to compete no matter how had they are. As mentioned in another thread even the Bengals would have benefited from tanking the last month, but they didn't. Those players once they are on the field try to win, and play hard. Plus more likely to get hurt if they don't. Even the Browns last year were digging and clawing to try to get wins at...

No and can't even compare. In fantasy football you don't already have a full team. It's not like last years winner of the fantasy championship gets to keep his same team, the next year. If so then the snake draft would be horrible for fantasy football too. The snake draft is to try to make it fair for people. In professional sports it doesn't need to be a fair. The championship team shouldn't have just as good of a chance to draft as many...

While I agree owners are also jealous of the success the Pats had. I seriously doubt that is the big reason for it. I truly believe the spygate thing was worst than we even know about. Hence the reason the NFL made sure all the evidence got destroyed, because in the media world we live in. That could have been devastating to the Pats and the NFL. It was bad but with video evidence would have been ten times worst. Much like how the Mixon punching...

Same in the East. As I mentioned a few days ago. We truly make be looking at two teams who are undefeated in the playoffs going at it in the finals. Lets just skip the next few games, and start the Finals already!

I think your post was originally to try to put down a Bengals player, rather than talk about how pro players should have free camps. If it was just about having a discussion about having free camps, you would habe put a different title. You also wouldn't have added in how two steeeler players have free camps, unlike Green. Your first post was not to talk about this topic. It was a weak attempt to put down a Bengals player and talk up Steeler...

No they should not change it. The NFL still has more parity than other sports. Year to year you see teams go from bad to good and vice versa. Now you still have dominate teams like the Patriots. However with Free agency and how they do the draft. It's a league every year that has new good teams pop up. Also besides that unless it's a stud can't miss qb. There is a lot of times not just that one player that can change a team like in the NBA. ...

That's why I even said at this point, it probably does need to be that harsh consequence of cutting him. Because now it does seem like he is taking advantage. Marvin has done enough to help. That is why I wouldn't call him spineless because of him giving guys chances. As bad as Pac Man is now, just imagine what he be like if he was out of the league 7 years ago. So what Marvin did helped, but now I agree it's time to move on. He is simply taking...

Not exactly sure what was dirty about that. If Leonard didn't have an injured ankle before it, I don't think anyone says anything about it because what he did is what every defender does. Just a very unfortunate thing that happens in basketball.

Here is the thing and I completely get what everyone is saying. Shoot i even have said he should have been gone after the January incident. With all that said I would never call Marvin Lewis a spineless coach when it comes to his willingness to give people second or even third chances. In the case of Pac Man he may have saved his life by being the guy 7 years ago who gave him his last chance in the NFL. Who knows what path Pac Man goes down...

I would say 60 percent of kids love and look forward to all the sports that happened during the summer. I know I loved it going from football in the morning, basketball camp in the afternoon and then usually my summer baseball teams games at night. I was exhausted at the end of each day, but I loved it. I feel like this is still the same for the majority of kids. Most kids want to and enjoy it. While there may be 40 percent who definitely...

Completely disagree. I would say less the. 5 percent of kids play because their parents make them. Unless your talking about 6 years olds. Then yeah their parents may make them at least try it out. Once they are in high school, it's less than 5 percent if even that. In fact I think it's more the other way around. More parents aren't letting kids play due to more information on concussions, and other reasons.

The Cavs probably will sweep the Wizards or Celtics to. It's crazy how bad the East is. I still maintain that if Lebrons teams played in the West his whole career, he would have only been in the Finals twice. However he would be undefeated in the Finals though. I think his two Heat Championships still happen if in the West. I don't think his Cavs team wins it all last year if they had to go through the West just to get to the Finals. James...

Both Warriors and Cavs go into the finals undefeated in the playoffs. Then they go into overtime in game 7 to decide the championship.

Not sure why the talk of change now. This is what the history of NBA basketball has always been. Basically dominant teams going on runs for a few years or even decades. We had the Lakers and Celtics. In the 90s two teams won 8 championships in the Bulls and Rockets. The NBA has never been a league of parity. It's a league of dominance by teams who may have one of the best players in the world. College basketball honestly would be the same...

In terms of performance most likely his skills have slipped. However some act like he hasn't do well in awhile. When in fact he had a very good year 2 years ago in 2015 and was rated as one of the best corners in football. Last year not so much. So most likely last year was the start of the rapid decline Dbs go through. I agree he should have been gone the next day after his January arrest. However I guess the one good thing is, he seems to...

That is true. It wouldn't cost much to cut him at all. Money won't be an issue for really any of the guys they could cut. Hewitt or one of the other backup TE's could be cut without losing much at all. It just comes down to what they are looking more for.

Big difference is Joe Thomas played LT. Pretty known fact LT get a lot more recognition than a RT. As I said before it not a coincidence that Anderson started making pro bowls once Marvin became coach and the Bengals actually became kind of relevant. As a lineman once you make it, you basically make it every year based on reputation.
