I agree any coaches who have connections here, who are available they will look at. In fact I would bet good money if either Jay Gruden or Zimmer gets fired, one of those two will then be the next coach. A guy who I would be interested in is the new Vikings OC Kevin Stefanski. He is only 36 years old and is a coach on the rise. He has coached Qb's for many years. He fits the mold of the new younger coach we are wanting the Bengals to get. He...

Unless Zimmer gets fired. I don't think the Bengals could even talk to Zimmer. Also there is zero reason for Zimmer to leave Minnesota to come here if it is up to him. With that said, I would be fine if the got him if he was available.

Tom Coughlin was a finalist for the job with Marvin back in 2003. If I had a guess if the Bengals don't just promote Hue. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to see if he has any interest in returning to coaching. He definitely would bring discipline.

Fair enough. For me the biggest thing is and i have always said this. I feel a lot of qbs could have done what he did in regards to making the playoffs with the talent he had around him his first 5 seasons. Then even in 2015 when he got hurt. We got to see McCarron who most say is a career backup, go in with the same talent and basically do the same as Dalton, while not having 4 years of experience under his belt and not having Eifert for 2...

Now to get off the qb topic. What the heck took the Bengals coaches so long to realize their defense is best man to man pressing. Ever since they switched to basically press man after they got down 14 to 0 last week against the Chargers. The defense has played really solid. Just makes this year even more frustrating that it took until week 14 for them to figure out what the defense was best at.

Besides today's game. He has looked good. So not exactly sure how you can say you seen enough like he has been bad. Shoot you said he isnt accurate but before today he was at 66 percent completion percentage for the year. Doing that without Green. Which is the security blanket Dalton has always had. Daltons numbers and completion percentage in games Green has not played in is not good. Daltons numbers for his career without Green in his...

My question what can you base it on that he isnt that good? Just like I cant say he will be good, you cant say he wouldn't be. There has not been enough to suggest one way or another. If we want to pick and choose games. Dalton as I said had the worst qb rating in NFL history in his 4th season after 40 starts. So you really cant use today to show what he will or wont. I am not saying at all Driskell would be anything. What I am saying is we...

Here is my thing. I get what you are saying, about Dalton not being the problem. Because he isnt the weakest link. The areas you mentioned definitely are. My thing is Dalton from 2012 to 2015 was given one of the most talented rosters in the NFL. So we got to see Dalton with a good defense, good running game, and good targets to throw to. And yet he couldn't perform against good teams or in big games. Even in 2015 his best years. The Bengals...

Dalton imo is like Lewis. Lewis is not a bad coach. He is an average coach, who can win games. Mike Brown didnt move on from him from fear of possibly finding someone worst. He stayed with what was comfortable. So imo its the same thing for those who arent willing to give someone else a chance and move on from Dalton. Yeah we may end up with someone not as good, but it's worth the shot. Driskell has made some true nfl type throws into tight...

Based on what? In my long post I just shown Dalton has 4 games this year where he was barely 50 percent completion rate. 2 of those games he even had Green. We seen Dalton literally have the worst qb rating in NFL history in 2014 against the Browns lol. So we have seen Dalton miss these throws and even have worst games than this. I'm not sure how some of you all seem to forget this. He has had plenty of bad games and even worst ones than we seen...

What has Dalton shown ever to make you think they score 50 with him, when he doesnt have his top receivers like Green playing and then no Boyd in the second half. Going into today Driskell has shown to be a very accurate passer. He had a 66% completion rate going ingo today. So was very accurate before today while never having Green. Driskell in college his 2 full seasons starting had a 62% completion percentage. To be fair in one year where...

Once again we know what Dalton is. After 3 starts impossible to know what Driskell is. Driskell has made some throws into tight windows we never seen Dalton make before. We also seen throws like today where he wasnt close. We know what Dalton is and his ceiling. We even know what Daltons ceiling is when he has Green and guys to throw to. We dont know what Driskells ceiling is with a healthy Green and people. If this was a better qb class...

That's the thing Dalton is not the problem but also is not the answer. Until today Driskell has looked really good on those out throws you said and even better than Dalton in throwing in tight windows down the seem. Today he was bad. I fully admit I am not saying i know Driskell is the answer. But after 8 seasons, we know Dalton isnt either. Trade him now while you can get something for him still. Driskell does have a lot of potential but can...

You are completely right. There has been games where Dalton looked great. Most of those didnt come until after his 30th career start. Most of those came when he had a Green, Eifert, Jones, Sanu, all on the field at the same time. Which as mentioned he has had some of the worst games in NFL history with those same guys on the field with him. Dalton also had benefitted from having Green to throw to basically his whole career, which helps a lot. ...

Why? Do people not remember Dalton having quite a few games like this, where he couldn't hit anyone? Even having games like this even with Green. Shoot in 2014 Daltons 4th season with 40 games experience. Dalron put up a qb rating of 4 against the Browns lol. Driskell was definitely very off today on his third career start. But also was doing that without Green, Eifert, and even Boyd in the second half. We know what Dalton is. An average...

Driskell seems to be playing ultra conservative with this lead. Since the Bengals got a decent size lead early. Driskell hasnt been close to throwing to a defender. Problem is the passes arent even close to the receiver is. I think the whole dont make a mistake hasbeen driven into his head by Marvin.

Even though it was picked. I was happy to see the Bengals actually take a deep shot to Ross. Driskell under threw it just a little. Have to make sure you lead him and let him run under it.

What are you exactly? A UK fan? Just a Cal hater? Or just someone that has free time in the months of December and January to only disappear by February and March? I'm just curious, because I thought you claimed to be a UK fan before, but that's hard to tell. Yes beating Utah is not a huge accomplishment. But in college basketball it's also about looking for improvement as the year goes on. This team is no where near its potential yet, but...

I think the perfect team for Green if they were interested would be Villanova. I think their style would fit really well for Green. Or even Xavier IMO.

So basically you pick and choose which fits your argument? You state guys who transferred because they wouldn't develop under Cal. Someone shows you guys who did, and yet still give no credit to him for it? You also have zero idea how those guys would have developed if they stayed at UK until they were seniors. I guarantee you Quade Green as a senior looks ten times better than green as a Sophomore. Richards has shown much improvement from...

It's always funny hearing all the complaints. People don't seem to learn. There are going to be problems. Yet people get so caught up in losses, and can't seem to grasp that they will get better. So all this complaining is meaningless, if they go make a run when it matters.

Facts! The only way UK fans would be happy is if a team truly does go 40 and 0 and wins a title. If that doesn't happen, then the coach isn't doing something right. Because it's UK and UK can't lose games.

I can't argue that, because that is how I feel about Dalton. Yet Dalton doesn't even have the top 10 statistics to go with it like a Cousins has had. Dalton has had more to work with than Cousins has over his career, and yet besides 2015 really hasn't even put up that good of numbers. So I definitely get what you are saying about not being able to get anywhere with him, because that is my feelings on Dalton.

The last 2 seasons between Keenum and now Cousins. They have had better QB play than most teams in the NFL. Both QBs have been in the top 10 in almost every QB category the last 2 seasons for the Vikings. So they have had more consistent QB play the last 2 seasons than the majority of the NFL.
