What you mean could be interesting? Like in what effect? The better qb is now playing.

I think it's hard to say a qb played well the first 2 games. When he had a completion percentage in the 30s in that Pittsburgh game. He did make a big time throw to Gordon to tie it up. But neither of you mentioned the interception he threw at the end of the 4th quarter when they were driving and had a chance to win it in regulation. Absolutely zero reason to throw the pass he threw, and then under threw it at that. Not to mention the Browns...

OSU fans dont care about what people think about strength of conferences though lol. Nice win by Purdue. Did the qb who played high school in Kentucky, still play for Purdue?

Its because Notre Dame wants to make the playoffs. They have no room for error, and currently their weak spot was qb. The defense is good, running game good. Qb play was not. When you watched the team with Wimbush at qb, they didn't look like a top 10 team. With Book they look like a top 10 team. Book won them some big games last year too, including the bowl game against LSU last year. Book should have been the starter to start the year. ...

Sk is good team but no where near what they have been. That is not debatable.

Eh I wouldn't go so far as to say Kings or Beechwood is better than Butler. Imo CovCath is experiencing what Beechwood has experienced during this last realignment. Beechwood couldn't win titles when Mayfield was still 1A. People started even saying will Beechwood ever go back to being what they were? Well it took the top teams leaving 1A, for them to get back to that. Yet if those top teams like Mayfield never left, what would people feel...

Well based on how we all have seen Dalton most of his career struggle and really press in big moments under the lights or against good teams (hopefully that may be changing this year finally). While I feel Baker lives for those moments under the spot light. I could be completely wrong and maybe Baker will struggle in those moments too. I just feel mindset rise he is more willing to step up, when Dalton most of his career seems to press in those...

Baker no doubt is going to have his rookie moments. He probably will have a game or two where he throws 3 or 4 picks in a game. He definitely is not afraid to let it rip. So teams will adjust and give him things he hasn't seen before. So there will be games like this where he stands out and he will have games where he looks like a mess. However they have given him talent to throw to. So unlike other rookies like a Dak. I think we will see...

Great point. However both qbs you mentioned also while even in college were never truly known for their ability to pass. Both were playmakers, and Watson a leader. However was unknown how good of a passer he would be. Baker was known as a leader, play making, and definitely known as a great passer. Which is different than both examples you gave.

Eh I think he will look better and perform better in bigger games. Than what Dalton has looked like most of his career.

Who is desperate. I am a huge Baker Mayfield guy. I always have been. However I would rather him be bad, because it he does end up being good. That's not a good thing for my Bengals.

Crap! They finally found out they truly have a special qb. He should have been starting from game one. As grantnky said they are probably 3 and 0 if he starts. I am a huge Baker Mayfield guy. However it sucks seeing him with the Browns. He is going to make them good for years, and so I really can't root for him.

As much as I want to see Notre Dame be a top team this year. Currently its QB play and offense isnt good enough to be considered a top 10 team. Top 25 yes, top 10 at the moment, no.

Ok. It sure seems like you are doing your best to pump up some big 10 teams in another thread going on currently. Which would mean it does contradict what you said. Especially when every year you all seem to try to talk up some other big 10 teams. To make it look more impressive if OSU wins the big 10, when people start questioning if OSU should make the playoffs or not. With all that said. I am still shocked Wisconsin lost. I fully expect...

Tomlin as always ran a loose ship. Which there is nothing wrong with as long as you have the right type of players. Which he has had a lot of success doing it his way. However when you run a loose ship, it does eventually lead to things like this happening. Definitely a lot of personalities on this Steelers team.

I said two years ago that Antonio Brown is slowly turning into what Chad Johnson became. Which quickly led to Chad Johnson becoming no longer the receiver he is. Obviously AB was better than Chad. However much like Chad, it seems more and more like AB is starting to care more about other things and himself rather than the team. Let's see if he quickly has a fall out as a top receiver as Chad did.

Ha past years completely contradict this statement. About you all not caring how good the Big 10 is. With that said, definitely a shock to see Wisconsin lose. However at least it won't be like last year, where Wisconsin almost found their way into the playoff by beating absolutely nobody all year.

It seems like people have said this about the Patriots the last few years as the beginning of the year. Yet end of the regular season they are a top team and end up in the super bowl. The Patriots are one team who you know will get better as the year goes on.

It becomes mental. I won't say anything because for a kicker I assume it's like golf. You may think your doing the Same swing each time, but just one little difference can make a bad shot or kick. Then once you miss a few, you over think and start over correcting everything.

I would say no considering it's the defense who gave up all those points. The offense moved the ball today just fine. Their defense couldn't stop the Chiefs with or without Bell.

I wish I could disagree, but the Bengals time table for injuries is usually always off. So I say he probably misses at least 3 games. This sucks because he was off to a great start this year.
