Im confused on what your actual point is here? Obviously the owners haven't been bluffing, hence the reason 3 teams have now moved in the last year.

There were bad calls on both teams. The only complaint I think that can be said. Is the majority of the 50 50 calls in the first half did seem to go in UNC favor. It is what it is though. UK has their chances to win still, but UNC made one more winning play than UK.

Freshman vs juniors or seniors. I would be willing to bet if he stayed to his Junior year those things wouldn't happen. So not sure why you would be glad he is leaving. I know we are so use to freshman, that we forget players do get better actually.

I see what you are saying. However when teams game planned for UK. Monk not fox was the one teams focused on stopping. Monk moved non stop on offense working to get open. However teams had almost every guy on defense keeping an eye on him, chipping him, bumping him doubling him off screens. Teams at the end of the year were determined to not let Monk get going. Which in turn he did start doing things in other areas that he didn't do at the...

That's why I don't see them drafting foster. I believe the plan is to keep Minter long term. However to avoid losing the compensation picks they will receive next year for the losses of Zeitler and Whit. The Bengals couldn't give Minter a big multiyear deal. The deal the Bengals have Minter allows them to save the comp picks they will receive next year. They will draft a backer in the draft, but now in the middle rounds imo.

I believe they feel those young tackles are on the roster. They used a first and second round pick on them 2 years ago. So I believe they are going all in on them this year to see what they can do. Ced finally has an off season to train for the first time and is at his natural LT spot. Fischer for the first time will only have to focus on one spot instead of guard, tackle, te, and FB that he did the first 2 years. I think the Bengals will...

They have a former Bengals coach as their head coach now. They already signed Peko, might as well get Rey Rey too. So now other teams want the Bengals cast offs. Shows how good the Bengals must be. 😉

How many are gone that it truly hurts? Zeitler sure but the line sucked with him last year, and would have depended on how the young tackles did this year. Or else they would have sucked again with him and his huge contract. Big Whit great leader but is 36. He eventually will hit that wall that most NFL players go through, where their play declines drastically and quickly. If they signed him back and that happened, they would have been called...

Both teams have won one game against each other on neutral courts on basically last second shots. So don't think we can say either one is the better team. UNC was just the better team on this day. To bad there can't be a game three. This would never happen. But it would be cool if starting at the elite 8. They made it a best of 3 series the rest of the way.

Besides in 2013. Everyone just remember when it comes to January early February. Next years Cats may not look great, may look unorganized, etc. However just remember beside 2013, coach Cal had always had UK playing it's best come tournament time. This year was another example. I think we just played the two best teams in the country back to back and we beat won and lost to another at the buzzer. It sucks falling short but he gets these guys...

Briscoe beside not guarding the guy on the last shot. Had a great tournament. Instead of forcing things, he actually passed the ball while driving. Played great defense and rebounded. He would be huge to have back playing like that.

Exactly. Nice play by UNC and unfortunate for UK and us fans. What gets lost in this is what an unbelievable shot Monk made yo tie it. He had no business making that, two guys in his face and if the ball is just an inch more right or left it's blocked. The play that hurt the most was Jackson break away layup after we cut it to one with 40 seconds left.

I think mostly everyone knows who is leaving. The only question mark is if Briscoe is dumb and tries to leave. Other than that the seniors are obviously gone as well as Fox, Monk, and Bam. Agreed on them caring. People like to say these guys don't care but they do. It make take awhile but coach Cal gets these guys to buy in to the UK family.

You see a guy driving 99 percent of defenders in that situation will help out like Willis did. Briscoe should have rotated over in that situation. At the end of the day once that guy started driving it allowed all the other things to play out. It sucks.

Considering he made an even more pressured packed shot to win the game. I think the chances of him making free throws are good.

I'm sorry but I don't know a team in the country or coach who fouls down 1 with 40 seconds left. Especially when the guy only caught the ball for a second before passing it down the court. Plus if I had to guess part of the reason he free throw percentage was bad was because of not playing to many minutes and hardly being in a rhythm like he has been the last couple games. If they foul internationally and he makes both then it goes down as a...

Stand around? He was moving around the whole time on offense. UNC had their eye on him all game. They had a taller Jackson on him, and then also guys chipping and bumping and hedging out on him coming off screens. He rarely stood around. Their focus was not to let him beat them again. Which they did a great job of that even in the last minute, it took 2 tough contested shots for him to even score those baskets.

Why would Willis foul on the inbound. UK was down 1 with 40 seconds left. I don't think any team would foul in that situation.

Not exactly sure what your obsession with Monk is, but it's almost as off based as your comments on the Bengals. Idk about you but I don't want Monk taking the tough contested threes he made at the end of the game all game long. Those last 2 threes he made were not open shots at all, and contested as can be, and he still made them which gave us a chance at the end. It's probably the best back court duo UK ever had at UK, and all you have done is...

The Bengals now only have 10 players on their roster older than 30. So it's definitely a youth movement. The play of our young tackles and how well we do in this upcoming draft. Will determine if this team goes back to a team that could possibly contend or will continue on a downhill slide. This draft is their most important draft they have had since the 2011 draft.

That's the problem. I hope I am wrong but I don't think any team will want him as a backup qb. I think he will have a hard time making a practice squad as a qb. Just not an accurate qb in college, and that doesn't bode well for the NFL where the passing windows are even smaller. I hope he proves me wrong though and lands with a team and sticks for a long time. Great kid, and would be awesome to see him stick somewhere.

At the end of the day Self only has one less title than Kansas former coach and UNC current coach in Roy Williams.

No. At the end of the day he is still more successful as Kansas coach than the coach before him was by the name of Roy Williams. Roy Williams failed even more at Kansas with even better teams. Self has at least gotten them a championshp. Something Roy Williams failed to do while at Kansas for many years.

If UK wins tomorrow. Even though our fan base travels well. It could end up being like two road games in the final four against Oregon and then possibly Gonzaga in the Championship. If UK does end up winning it all. They definitely would have earned it, with the route they have to take to win it.

He definitely has choked many times in the tourney. I don't consider this one of them though. They lost to a very good Oregon team today, that was just flat out better than them today. Which is why this tournament is so hard to win. Your team has one off day shooting, while the other team shoots great and plays great and your season is over.

The reality is now unless Florida is the one who makes it. We will have at least one team making the championship for the first time ever in Gonzaga, Xavier, or South Carolina.

Not sure what else you need to see. The last two games they showed they can win a slow down defensive game against Wichita St. And then today in this game by playing fast but at the same time controlling the game with defense. They couldn't do these things earlier in the year. So agree to disagree still. With that said it doesnt get any easier. They will have to possibly play an even better game against North Carolina. However this was fun. ...

That's exactly how I felt at first. Then I started to think about it after I heard someone else mention it, and I liked it. Doing more 2 TE sets would help the young tackles. Should help the running game, or if teams keep their base defense in against our 2 TEs then we would give the defense huge matchup problems. Plus gives them insurance in case Eifert gets hurt or leaves after this year.
