Sadly if Pittsburgh makes it. This seems like the type of year they make one of their runs to the Super Bowl. In the NFC. I think it will end up being one of the wild card teams. Whoever makes it out of Philly, Seattle, and Minnesota.

I have always been a big Josh McDaniels guy. I would love it if they got him. However, if he didn't take the Colts job. I don't see him taking this job with the Bengals management reputation. I could see Green Bay, or Dallas if it were to open to be more realistic openings for him.

Ha and that is all I was trying to say lol. You were presenting it like it was a fact, or that is how I read it and got the reply to begin this all. With all that said, I agree. I do think UCF should have accepted the deal to play Florida. The only way for them to get people to change their OPINION is to go out and play more teams. Not turn them down.

Which in turn all goes back to the first quote I replied to which his. With his statement of Auburn and LSU is disinterested. Which then supported it that he was definitely presenting it as fact, when he replied back to me with it is the truth. But hey it's ok. You didn't realize someone tried to present something as fact first, which kind of went again your post when you tried to quote me as doing it first. So you are doing a good job, at...

He presented it as a fact not an opinion. He then goes on to show he was presenting it as a fact. You can go back and look post #81 where he shows he was stating as a fact. When he states it is not an excuse that they were uninterested it is the truth. So looks like how I read it as he was stating it as fact was correct, because post 81 shows that yes he was presenting it as a fact. But hey keep trying man lol.

So you think they'll beat a disinterested LSU this year after beating a disinterested Auburn last year.... Surely you can also see and comprehend that there is also nothing in this statement by him that looks like he is simply stating his opinion. Sure looks like a statement and not just an opinion. But hey keep trying, I have 15 free minutes still.

Once again did I ever say yes UCF should have been the National Champ? Nope never said that. All I said was that they did have a point, which they did. It honestly is quite hilarious seeing how up in arms some of you all have gotten with UCF declaring themselves National Champs. Like that truly hurt things, or changed who everyone who looks back on as remembers as the National Champs.

So stating Auburn was disinterested and LSU is disinterested isn't trying to state it as fact? Ok then lol

Ha, I will give you an A for trying. However take a look at post #5 in this thread, the post that I actually even first quoted and replied too. Jumper dad definitely did try to present as fact that they beat a disinterested Auburn team and now a disinterested LSU team. So no I didn't start the whole presenting the opinion as fact, but keep on trying man lol.

At the end of the day they were the only undefeated team, and beat the team who beat both teams who did play for the title. So yes they did have a point. Do I think they would have beaten either Bama or Georgia, no. Does that change that they had a point, no. I fully admit that they would have zero point this year in crowning themselves champs if they beat LSU. They have zero to base it on this year, and I wouldn't see any point they would...

Yes it was, and you proved my point with your whole based on what comment. Because I can't prove they were. Just like you all can't prove they weren't interested. So thank you for that! Shows it is just an opinion, just like your all's was only an opinion and can't be presented as truth.

Very good points? Do you know they weren't well prepared? Do you know they weren't interested? Unless you are a coach or a player on that team, you nor I really know that answer. So you all can't present it as a fact like you all know they weren't interested or prepared.

Oh I know I did, and it worked exactly like I intended. If he was going to present his opinion as truth, then I am showing how it could work the other way then. Which prompted your response, and led to this. At the end of the day you and him can't act like you all know for sure that they were not interested, and I admit I can't act like I know they were.

Once again I am not arguing that and agree with you there. They definitely should build their schedule. I also never said I thought they would have beat either Georgia or Bama. All I said was I see their point in why they declared themselves Champs last year, because the way it worked out. Which is why I don't think they would declare themselves Champs this year. Unlike last year they have nothing to even try to base their claim on this year....

I gave my reasoning in post above. At the end of the day football players and coaches are competitive people. Those Auburn coaches would have been pushing and working the Auburn players hard for 3 weeks of practice. So for players getting to finally play a game would have them very interested and ready to play. I fully admit maybe they wouldn't be interested. All I am saying is you have zero idea how interested or not they were. Just like as...

Hey I don't disagree there. I just find it funny that some of your all's argument against them is saying well obviously Auburn wasn't interested. Then what prompted me on this one, was someone saying if they beat LSU then LSU must not have been interested either. I'm claiming you nor me has any idea how interested or how hard Auburn or now LSU will play. What we do know is UCF did beat Auburn last year, we will see this year with LSU. Some...

What conspiracy theory. Some of you all seem to claim like you know they weren't interested. So I will say the same thing you said to me, based on what? So it's ok for you all to claim that they weren't interested like you all know, but if someone else claims otherwise you want proof? Ha ok then. I forgot it only works one way.

You may be right, you may be wrong. That is the thing you can't present it as truth as you tried to claim. You just like I have zero idea or proof to show how interested or not they were. So at the end of the day it's just a nice excuse for people to use for why UCF won, when in reality you have no idea either.

Its also the truth that those Auburn players would have been interested and playing hard. Just like its the truth LSU players will be interested and playing hard to try to shut up UCF.

They were undefeated and beat the team who beat both teams in the finals. Yes it did make sense. Why shouldn't they then think they may be the best team in the country? Both Bama and Georgia lost the first time they played Auburn, while UCF beat them. So yes in their mind it would make sense in thinking they deserved that shot to be National Champ. So might as well declare themselves National Champs. The only undefeated team, and beat the team...

Which is what the problem has always been with college football IMO. A National Champion should be just that, a National Champion and decided on the field and not by opinion. Which is what college football has done basically its existence. Let the 5 P5 Conference Champs be automatically in. If some team somehow upsets a team to win a P5 Conference, then so be it. At least it was done on the field. A team should know exactly what it has to do...

I doubt we see UCF declare themselves national champs this year. Last year they had somewhat of an argument. They were the only undefeated team left, and they beat the team who beat both of the teams who played for the title. This year out of the teams left. Unless Oklahoma wins it, the Champion will be undefeated. So UCF won't have a win over any team who also beat the Champ. So I doubt they make that claim this year even if they beat LSU.

There is not doubt that Auburn was motivated to win. There is no doubt that LSU is motivated to win. Players go through 3 additional weeks of practice before they get to even play a bowl game. So by the time its time to play a game, players are tired of having to practice and ready to play. It's just a great excuse for people to use for when a team like UCF wins.

I would venture to say we here Urban say there should be an expansion over the next year. He wasn't going to come right out afterwards and say otherwise, because he has been classy in that regard and wouldn't want to come out like he was crying. With that said here is an article I just found. That shows that he may be warming up to the idea of expansion too. Ohio State football: Urban Meyer talks CFP expansion, Rose Bowl At the end of...

IMO no one should question UCF's win over Auburn either. People just assume well since UCF won, that means Auburn wasn't interested. I don't buy that at all. If that is the case, then that should be used against every single team who wins a bowl game every year, except for the teams in the playoffs. I know it's hard for people to believe for since Auburn beat Bama and Georgia last year. There was no way UCF could beat Auburn. I guarantee you...
