Sounds like the Bosa family is at least entertaining the idea of keeping Nick off the field for the rest of the season... Cheryl Bosa, the mother of Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa, tells me Nick is in Philadelphia for rehab after undergoing core muscle surgery last week. Cheryl Bosa said Nick will return to Philadelphia in November to be re-evaluated. "It would be then that we'll assess his readiness," she said. Cheryl said her son wants...

Admittedly, most everyone I know thinks I'm off base in my opinion of Terry, but I don't see a QB when I watch him play. I see a guy that would be lethal in the Randall Cobb type roll, but not a true QB. :idunno:

No one is competing with Bama this year IMO, so not them, but I'm talking about legit top 25 teams on a weekly basis. No chance this team is hanging with the Georgias, or A&Ms of the world without the threat of being able to move the ball through the air.

I think he's a fine player. I just don't think he's an actual QB. I think to be able to compete with the upper echelon of CFB you need a QB that can actually pass the football. Having the nation's top RB clearly helps, but that'll only take them so far.

I know right? There's a lot of really bad QBs in the league. Outside of a game involving the Pats, I wouldn't waste my time with any of those other games. Also, what's the fastest growing segment of NFL fans? Women. All the women I know who are fans have the QB jersey. I don't think a one of them even knows who the backup QB on their team is. Women fans, as a whole, love the QB.

I think you're giving the die-hard football fans way too big a piece of the NFL pie. Fact is, diehards like yourself make up a very small portion of the NFL fan base. Here's what they're trying to protect against. They're trying to avoid a season where a GB vs. NE game is Kizer vs. Hoyer. They're trying to protect against a Saints/Falcons game of Bridgewater vs. Schaub. A Panthers/Seahawks game of Heinicke vs. Hundley. A...

NFL has to do what's best for business. People may complain the league's getting soft, and some may stop watching because of it, but it pales in comparison to how bad the ratings will tank if the QBs start going down consistently.

If he stays on the field, he makes the offense unstoppable once Edelman returns IMO.

I think complacent is perfect to describe Petrino right now. He knows he won't be fired due to his buyout. He also knows, because of the whole Arkansas fiasco (and other baggage), the chances of him getting another chance at a "bigger" program aren't good. What that gets you is a coach that is content to just let things play out without a sense of urgency IMO. I think Louisville will bounce back in the next couple years, but right...

If you don't slobber all over them, it's a personal attack against Ohio State fans apparently. :lol2: Heck, even if you think they're an elite team that should curb-stomp all the teams on their schedule, you get accused of putting down their opponents, so I honestly don't think there's any pleasing them.

I'm of the belief Clemson would probably be odd team out, but Miami is a top 25 team no matter how much you don't want to acknowledge it.

That's what was so great about Benny's game Saturday night. Mississippi State has two top 15-20 NFL draft prospects on that line. No one has been able to run on them. Snell made them look silly, and like you said, he let them know he was coming before the game. Dude talks a lot, but he definitely delivers.

I think it'd be a coin-flip between Clemson or Oklahoma getting omitted, but I'd probably lean towards Clemson being the odd team out.

Stars don't really mean much. Look at the two studs for Kentucky.....What stars were they? There isn't a team in the country that wouldn't want either of them in their starting 11. Let's also just break this game down to the simplest measure...McSorley vs. Haskins. One is a superstar, the other is probably the most overrated QB in the nation. No chance I'd ever trust McSorely in a critical spot.

I give them credit for all their wins. Do I think there's a team on their schedule capable of beating them? I don't. They're doing exactly what an elite team should do. They're stomping teams that have no business staying on the same field with them. I don't know what more you want. They're one of the best 3-4 teams in the country. Just like Bama, they're dominating everyone. That's what they should do with the gap in talent those...

No, they haven't earned anything IMO. They also seem to always lose a game against a team that has no business staying on the field with them each season. The A&M win was good, but look what Alabama did to that same A&M team. I watch them play, and then I see Michigan play and Stanford and I think...yeah, don't see a lot of difference between these teams. Make no mistake, Clemson will most likely make the playoff, but I don't think...

Right, but when you play so poorly that you let a team that bad hang around that long, Ohio State is going to throttle them.

No, absolutely not. If your opinion differs in even the slightest way, even if it's based in fact, you're simply a hater.

South Carolina is a decent team, but in Lexington the Cats should win this one, and I'd think pretty comfortably. I'm sure it'll be dicey the 1st quarter, or even half. Have to expect a little bit of an emotional/focus let down after Saturday's huge win. They need to just keep feeding Benny and Rose and hope Turnover Terry doesn't rear his head at inopportune times. Watching this team play this season, and I can't help but think....How...
