Beechwoodfan replied to a thread Boi Na Braza in BGP Break Room
I have been there once a couple of years ago. We had a good time and the food was good. As sportsfans said, some cuts are better than others. It is not a place I would go often. The main reason is that I like to sit and talk with the people I go to dinner with. It felt more like a race because as soon as you turn over your card, the meat starts coming. Instead of talking with your company, you are looking around to see what is coming out...

We are in the process of remodeling out bathroom. The wide variety of fixtures can make your head spin! The biggest problem we are encountering at this point is picking out a shower head. We donít care about fancy, we just want a shower head with a good strong stream. I know this may mean removing the water saver inside. Canít stand showers where you feel like the water is dripping on you. Any suggestions? A friend suggested Speakman...

True, but I am going to guess that vendor is squirming a bit right now. I bet a little t of people pull their business from the vendor when the public finds out who printed those jerseys.

I wonder if it is possible that the kids did not wear those jerseys the first 3 games and that the coach pulled the offensive ones out at the last minute for them to wear? Maybe he had some sick idea of what was funny and wanted to get away with it one time. I donít know...just throwing guesses out there. Canít understand how this was their 4th game and no one said a word before this.

Not one single parent on the offending team thought to question this? If my kid came home with a jersey like that he would not be wearing it.

Maybe for you, you whipper snapper! Seriously though, the young folks I know who work in the tip industry tell me that they prefer tips in cash regardless of how you pay the bill. That way they are not taxed for their tips, or at least they can fudge a bit more. Dont you tip the valet as well as pay the charge? Can’t we keep a few bucks out for tips or the poor kids selling candy bars for their school at the grocery store? I would...

I know many people in the younger generation who never carry cash. Called my son recently as he was on his way to meet me at a restaurant. Told me there was a $3.00 valet right at the door. He acted like I was crazy that he would carry cash. I thought that businesses were also charged fees to use credit cards. I have seen signs in small stores requesting cash to keep their costs down.

I hate the “They always win, and we can’t, so let’s change the rules” mentality. Any school that works hard at building a program can potentially win a championship. Might not have the numbers or the fancy stadiums, but hard work and great heart go a long way. How insulting to say “you will never be as good as them, so you guys play down here.”

I also binge watched it a couple years ago. Loved it, but it did start to get too much towards the end.

I do not believe that all dogs are born equal. Pure bred dogs do have certain personality traits, good and bad. You have to know how to handle a particular breed. My mama used to say that mutts are calmer and make the best pets because the mixture of breeds takes out a lot of personality problems. She was no scientist, but we always had great dogs. I would be interested to hear the views of a BGP vet if we have one.

As an RN, I am VERY watchful and critical of the care my family and I get. Have been helping relatives through some serious health issues recently. I have never liked how St. E’s has made a monopoly of Care in NKY. That being said, I have frequented ST E’s, University Hospital, and Christ a LOT in the last few years. My overall favorite is Christ, but I have had great and bad experiences at each of those 3 hospitals. Send me to...

I know a family who did that at both Cov Cath and Notre Dame very recently. Not for athletes, but just to send their kids there. Donít know for sure how much they got off tuition, but it was the only way hey could afford to send their children there. It was nice thing and the kids appreciated their education so much more. Back to the thread...NCC sits on such a beautiful piece of land. It is a shame they canít get a field in there.

Love dogs and have always owned one. Never had a Pitt Bull but currently own my 3rd German Shepherd. Love her, but I am always aware of the assertive nature of her breed. She is great for protection, but it is on me to make her behave. I do believe certain breeds of dogs are more aggressive than others. It is the ownerís responsibility to train, and more importantly love and raise him/her properly.

Real tree at my insistence for 30 years, until the day after Thanksgiving 2010 whe my brave husband had a surprise beautiful artificial tree set up. Have been thankful ever since! Very silly, but...always had the kids sit at the top of the stairs while we were downstairs and I announced that Santa forgot to come. Then they raced downstairs. Oddly enough, when they were young adults still at home they still sat up on the stairs waiting for...

Stopped at the Key Hole restaurant in Ludlow yesterday. We have driven past it several times and got curious. Really enjoyed our lunch. It is an old bar that they cleaned up and are trying to make it more family friendly. Husband got the cheeseburger, I got the French dip special, and friends got the chicken wrap. We all enjoyed our lunch. As a bonus, we got free pie because it was Christmas! Staff was very friendly. There is even a Pac Man...
