This is spot on. I work with individuals every day who kick, spit, and punch because they have learned that they can with no consequences, because they are "disabled". It is amazing to see how quickly they shape up when consequences are placed on their behavior. The girl certainly did not deserve to be punched, but putting limits on such behaviors, just like any other child, teaches kids to control negative behavior. In Tourette's,...

Are they actually allowed in the classroom? If so, are they just for autistic children or can any child bring them?

I am white, but have been around the block a time or two. I think race relations overall aren't great, but they never have been. I do think, that in my lifetime things have gotten better. We just have a long way to go. I have noticed the following in my lifetime: 1. As a kid, I don't remember ever seeing a professional black person. No doctors, lawyers, teachers, etc. I am not saying there weren't any, but not many. Today, it is...

I am a very experienced flyer. Once when flying, I had to go (no alcohol involved). We were approaching landing and were told to stay in our seats. I thought I could wait, but we had to circle for awhile, when we finally started to descend, I knew I wasn't going to make it. My panicked look and repeated I'm sorries as I ran down the aisle, probably kept me from getting in trouble. I was seated in the restroom upon landing. I was not going...

Sandals offered my friend a package, but the flights were in a round about manner and it would take almost a whole day to get there. They changed to Delta. Don't get me wrong, they are super excited to be going, and the place looks fantastic. They were just disappointed at how difficult it was to reschedule. Please let us know how you liked it. If I remember, I will tell you how they liked it in September.

I know someone who booked Sandals Antigua for his honeymoon. A very last minute passport problem, noticed when they arrived at the airport, prevented them from flying at the last minute. Naturally, they were greatly disappointed. Unfortunately, the literally spent hours and several hundred dollars rescheduling the trip. Sandal reps suddenly couldn't be reached and they were put on hold for extended periods of time. They did not want to...

I didn't realize how many fast food chicken options there were. Probably doesn't count as fast food, but Remkes Market in NKY makes the best take home fried chicken IMO.

When I was younger, I was always afraid to light our gas grill. One day, I went out to light it, turned on the gas, lit the lighter while taking a few steps backward, so I wouldn't blow up. Suddenly, it made that "poof" sound that it makes when it lights. I jumped backwards even more and fell down a flight of concrete steps that goes to our basement. Scared the heck out of me because I literally could have broken my neck. Luckily, I only...

Sadly, there are too many to chose from. Locally, I would agree with the Beverly Hills Supper Club fire. Otherwise, 9/11.

We bought all 3 of my children's first cars from a guy who rebuilds salvaged cars. They were all great cars. The difference is that he is well known in the community, very trustworthy, and stands by his work. I would never buy a salvaged car under any other circumstance.

My guess is that she was invited. If people didn't like it, they shouldn't go, or peacefully protest. Otherwise, they should be arrested. To cancel her visit is shameful. To not be able to keep a speaker on a college campus safe is ridiculous. When I went to NKU, I was so busy going to school, working, and worrying about getting my mom's car back to her, that I had no time to protest anything. It drives me nuts, that these so called...

I don't think she ever expected a warm welcome. I think she loves to stir the pot. I have no problem with peaceful protests. She should not be prevented from speaking because of the threats of violence and the inability of security to keep her safe. And yes, lots of things go wrong on campus, but these kids/adults should be expected to behave in a reasonable manner or get arrested. There had to be people who wanted to hear her speak, or...

I would like to hear clarification on what exactly went on at the gate. If the gate agent ok'd it, as the family says, then it should be on Delta. If the family didn't use a ticket to check in, and just assumed that seat would be theirs no matter what, then it is on them. Where did they think that child was going to sit if their other child had used his ticket? I bet they were trying to get away with keeping the child as a lap child. I...

I think that is a bad analogy. This is a college, not the Klan. It is a place where young adults should be exposed to different ideas. It should be a place where this can be done safely. Spoiled kids who riot because they don't like what someone else have to say, need a lesson in the constitution.

In all fairness, if the person ticketed for that seat does not check in, it is on that person. The airline should be able to give that seat to a standby passenger. The guy in the video said that he paid for the seat (true). He should be able to use it for his other child (not true). They originally meant for the infant to be an "infant in arms" passenger, but mistakenly thought they could use the seat the originally meant for another child...

According to the news, the boy's 16 year old brother was driving. I never considered myself to be naive, and believe in supporting law enforcement. However, it has been a real eye opener to see how the world of video phones and officers' cameras have shed light on what really happens in some of these cases. Makes you wonder how many deaths have been covered up by the big blue wall over the years.

Washington D.C. I am not normally a bus tour/museum person. Went with my daughter's class years ago. Loved every minute! The WWII memorial had just opened, and there were several veterans there with their medals on. Brought me to tears which isn't easy. Loved the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier. Even the museums were great!
