  1. My heart is so heavy tonight for Mrs PH. When I talked to her today she could say one word....He's gone. I am just so very sorry for her. May God welcome MrPH home into His loving arms.
  2. Dave was such a wonderful friend to this old gal and I loved him dearly. I met him on BGP and along with Dave came RTS....gosh, how very lucky I was. Dave has been such an important part of my life and I truly do not know what I will do without him. I saw him a few weeks ago and he was again trying to keep me and RTS quite and not get thrown out of the hospital. Gosh, he was sure one of a kind. I will try to honor his life by being a better person. I will never forget you and I will always..always be grateful for God allowing me to be your friend. I was only called on the carpet once while being on BGP and it was from "BirdsFan"....he told me to stop doing this .................................................................................................................I asked why...he said, "because I don't like it". Well here you go my friend..............................................................................................................................................................................................................................
  3. I have been so very blessed to have BirdsFan in my life. May God continue to watch over him and his family and bring him all back to us so we can all enjoyed his witty witty sense of humor!
  4. I am just seeing this thread. MrRk and I have been praying ever since you called to let us know what was happening. Your better half is truly a wonderful person and we are hoping that all of her tests results come back great. Please know that we will continue to pray for good results and for good health for both of you. We are truly blessed to have both of you as our friends...and yes...that other little person who lives on the other street from you also.......
  5. Good luck to both teams....but I truly do hope that two of my best pals from Fort Thomas won't be quite as happy as I hope I am at the end of the game!!!! :ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper:
  6. Perhaps if I had been with you RTS you wouldn't have been carded...they would have been too busy trying to call Child Protective Services because of this MUCH older man being there with me...a MUCH younger girl.... I understand her asking for your ID, after all she really was just doing her job and if she hadn't she might have gotten fired. I just don't understand her asking for your wife's ID also just because she handed you a twenty (that sounds kinda stupid to me also).
  7. Happy Birthday to the best pal ever..............May this be the best birthday EVER!!!!!!!!!! :dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa
  8. Four years ago yesterday I had open heart surgery. When I was finally transferred to a regular room out of ICU I started receiving phone calls. My husband would answer the calls and talk to each person because I was just too weak to carry on a conversation. One night the phone rang and MrRk answered it and talked to someone for a little while and told the person on the other line that I just wasn't up to talking. When I asked him who it was MrRk said, "he said to tell you that it was Alabama Larry and that he just wanted you to know that he was thinking of you and that he had you in his prayers". I told him later that I was so very touched by that phone call. He didn't have to make the call but as a good christian man he just felt the need to let me know that he was praying for me. This news of his death is heartbreaking and now I want him to know that I have him and his family in my prayers. May God welcome him home into his loving arms and may "Alabama Larry" know that I was proud to call him my friend.

  10. I do know that the show wants some drama in order to make the show what it is...but come on now...Alicia and Colton are horrible individuals and neither one deserves to be on the show. Play your game but for people to bully people the way they do...that's totally uncalled for. I was so very happy to see him get sick (well he wasn't near death so I can say that) I thought it showed how strong his friendship was with Alicia when he took the idol with him and how she was so very pleased with him for doing that.. Now I want the Tarzan gone because I think he's a horrible person also...
  11. Was so pleased to get the phone call that told me that Conner had arrived! I know how very proud you and Mrs.rts are. This child will be so loved and so spoiled and he will have so much fun with his grandpa. Can't wait to meet him!!!!!
  12. MrRk and I went to Henryville today to drop off a truck load of supplies that we bought. We didn't think they would let us through and had just hoped they would take the supplies to the church for us. To our surprise they let us go on into town and when you look at the pictures of this small town on your tv or in the newspapers....please know this...it is much worse than it looks. It made me sick to see the total destruction and it made my heart smile to see all the people out there trying to help this town. God bless all of these first responders and all the other people out there trying to help put this town back together. Oops I forgot ....the bank is still there...
  13. Happy Happy Birthday RockMom.....hope your day was great!!!! :dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa
  14. I don't know if the bank was destroyed or damaged. We tried to go there today to check on MrRk's cousin and they were only allowing emergency workers in.
  15. I live in Charlestown Indiana which is about 7 miles from Henryville and just a few miles from the other two towns that was completely destroyed..Chelsa and Marysville. I spent the entire afternoon in a friends basement worrying about my husband who was in a direct line for a hit and for one of my best friends who lives in Henryville. Both my husband and my friend were okay. My friends house did not have a lot of damage and her car was damaged quite a bit from hail. All of these towns are just sweet little towns with some sweet people who live in them. It broke my heart to listen to what was happening and to see the damage after the storm. I spent most of yesterday praying and crying and feeling so very blessed that no more people died than did. I pray for their families and I pray that the clean up will be quick so these fine hard working people can get back to their lives. My husband and I spent quite a lot of time traveling the backroads and taking picture of this beautiful countryside and it makes my heart sad to know that it has taken such a hard hit. Please continue to pray for all the families that were involved and for all the people who are out there helping put their lives back together.
