Chad was trying to find other jobs last year. He was trying to shop around and he didn't have good things to say about Bracken County on his stops. I was in a few of the interviews. Maybe it is best for Chad and Bracken Co to go in different directions.

Nicholas Co. Didnt show up in this one. 8 Day lay off might been a factor, but how can you not show up to Play Paris. Nicholas still hasnt figured out they must play defense. Was down 17 at half but was able to cut into the lead in the 3rd but ran out of gass midway threw the 4th. If Nicholas Co. can put their egos aside and play as a team they could be a factor in the 38th District Tournament. Coach Newton will get them back on tract.

Glad to see the Jackets get the Win. This was a game that the Jackets wanted to play and win. With Sexton and several other former players transferring to Bourbon Co. it was a respect game for the Nicholas Co. Team. Sometimes the grass isn't greener on the other side. Nicholas improves to 8-6 and Bourbon Co. falls to 4-12.

What a win tonight. Nicholas County has had a season to remember. Congratulations on the win. The Lady jackets played as a team tonight and for the whole tournament. There was no one payer stood out just a small county school and a bunch of kids and coaches who believed in each other they represented what a team is suppose to be like. Also Congratulations to the Bourbon County team on a great season. What a game. Good luck lady Jackets

It doesnt matter how many classes you have the powers will still be in the finals. I dont like the 4 team format, I think it should be 2 teams out of each district. The season starts way to early in August. if you only had the two teams then you could beat the heat in August by starting the first of September. This would help out the county schools who have a hard time with the numbers on their roster, A coach could still have about three weeks to get kids out after school starts.
