If people are deciding whether or not to renew their season tickets based on Frazier being on the roster or not, well, they probably aren't real fans anyways.
I could see some (actually many) fans thinking that the Reds may have to do this in the long run but that they don't have to pay a lot of money to watch an inferior product for the next year or two or three. If and when the Reds get competitive again, they could always buy season tickets then.

The thing I'll miss most is hearing Sinatra on the walk up music.

I had season tickets the last two seasons. A 20 game pack. Not renewing this year. Has nothing to do with the product on the field. Used all 20 games two years ago. Last season I was unable to use 8 of the games whether that be attending, selling, or giving away.
I'll still go to 10-20 games next year, just not as a season ticket holder.

The Reds not making moves to avoid an All Star game 'funk' with the national media watching will cost them for years. Trading away talent for mid tier guys never works out unless you spend wisely on FA's and the Reds NEVER do that.

Man, that is a downer for her. I still have a signed jersey and autographed baseball by Austin Kearns. I really liked the guy from Lexington.

Turns out Todd Frazier isn't that good and this is looking better and better.

Peraza is making strides to be serviceable player.

    Also Frazier not worth $100M.

It's definitely a good thing they may have hit on this Frazier trade and got a steal in the Simon trade. With them failing basically in their trades of their studs at the time in Cueto and Chapman. The reds would seriously be in a horrible spot if the Frazier and Simon trades didn't work out well.

The Chapman trade is one of the worst Reds trades in a long time.

How about Jay Bruce for Herrera instead of Nimmo who was on the table?

Nope. I actually like what I have seen from Herrera at the plate. Can anyone even name who the Reds got for Chapman? Even worse, compare that to who Chapman was traded for later on that year.

Nimmo is a Winker who can poke 15-20 HR and steal 15 bags. We have too many IF.

    Reds Received:
    Rookie Davis- AAA
    Eric Jagielo- Released
Tony Renda- in Red Sox Organization
    Caleb Cotham- Retired

    Yankees Received:
    Gleyber Torres- Potential ROY
    Adam Warren
    Billy McKinney
    Rashad Crawford

Yankees getting Torres was an absolute steal in retrospect considering Chapman resigned with the Yankees that off-season after he was traded. Terrible trade by the Reds, should have held on to him a little bit longer until the domestic dispute fiasco worked out. Can't fault the Yankees, bought low, sold high, then resigned.

If you are asking whether I would rather have Nimmo over Herrera, then obviously the answer is Nimmo. I was saying that Herrera for Bruce is a better trade than what the Reds got for Chapman.
