ST. LOUIS -- Jeff Suppan came up one inning short of a complete game in the statistical sense, but his performance on Saturday night couldn't have been any more complete if he'd pitched nine more frames.

Suppan was brilliant in all facets of the game -- pitching, hitting and defense -- and as a result, the Cardinals now find themselves halfway to the World Series. Behind the steady veteran's big night, the Cardinals beat the Mets, 5-0, at Busch Stadium in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series.

I watched the game. I've been to the new stadium yet but it sure seems like it is more fan friendly. I mean the fans are closer to the action.

Gotta admit im surprised at my birds. Can they pull it off? At any rate, there sits Detroit with a week long break commin up to rest thier great pitchin staff.

It has more of a "baseball feel" than the old stadium. I really like the new park, and you are a lot closer it seems.
