Is this true? Is our long ESPN nightmare finally over?

I think so...haven't heard a mention of him before tonight since his wife died.

I don't think he's gone yet but they are weeding him out gradually. I haven't heard if he will be on the NFL show in 2017.

You're crazy. And out of your mind. Completely bonkers. Off your rocker. Nuts, mental, whacky and loopy.

Haha! Growing up with him calling the HR Derby, it's just a little strange not hearing the "Back Back Back Back".

It was odd not hearing the back, back, back, but I'm not a fan.

I listened to him a lot as well. It's just that the schtick got old. It was good for calling a game, or doing highlights. But for a HR derby...no way. Besides, a lot of them are no doubters as soon as the guys hit them.

I thought Ravi did a good job of honoring him last night, with a call during one of the latter rounds.
