    rjs44......Great point!!! Ernie banks was my first thought.I remember Steve Carlton in "72" with the Phillies, winning the Cy Young. He won 27 games that year. Philadelphia as a team won 59. Sometimes players are just that good,no matter how bad the rest of the team is. Hell,I'm showing my age!!! ....lol!!!

    I also just read Votto has only missed 8 games since he has come back from his knee injury in the last 3 years. It's a shame he is being wasted on this Reds team the last few years.
