rjs44......Great point!!! Ernie banks was my first thought.I remember Steve Carlton in "72" with the Phillies, winning the Cy Young. He won 27 games that year. Philadelphia as a team won 59. Sometimes players are just that good,no matter how bad the rest of the team is. Hell,I'm showing my age!!! ....lol!!!
