I hate that they swing at everything. Especially considering Loshe has had terrible control this season.

With Hamilton on base Votto is 9-16 for a .563 average. He has also walked once.

    Thanks.

I was wondering about last year as well if you want to look that up.

    Hamilton
    Votto
    Frazier
    Byrd
    Bruce
    Phillips
    Pena
    Cozart
I know you place a high value on analytics and stats. Do you not place any value on batting average with runners in scoring position?

Since we're only 14 games this season I just looked at the play by play for each game...Probably not going to do that for last year.

Not a terribly high amount of value, no.

You want guys in the middle of the order who are able to produce runs even without guys in scoring position. Phillips is incapable of doing that.

Just dumb for Billy not to steal on a guy that has no speed, throwing sliders and sinkers, Maldonado has not thrown anyone out since the ice age. Votto in 2 hole it doesnt happen.
