Good start to the series last night.

Everything pointing to Scooter making the All Star game this year.

Good start by Mahle and Scooter goes yard and a bit from Pereza. Reds win first game of three. Harvey on the mound today.

Reds could not figure out what to do with Homer, so they put him on the DL. Austin Brice activated from the DL.

Scooter win Player of the Month for May. First Red to win that award since 2011. Geez, are the Reds really that bad? Where has Votto been since 2011?

Casali, new catcher, makes an error allowing a run in the first. Then in his first AB, goes deep to give Reds 2-1 lead in the second.

Harvey is terrible in the second inning against the bottom of the order. Votto makes a good play to get help get him out of the inning. Padres up 5-1 going to the third.

Votto gets a hit and is immediately picked off. His minor league years, he did not work on base running.

Castillo just gave up a Grand Slam on a 1-2 count to a PH for the pitcher. But yet, that is not the worst part. He hit it on a hanging curve ball after he just threw two fastball right by him. How about a change-up? Got beat with his third best pitch. Who ever is calling pitches should just go and change and head for the airport for the flight home. A classic case of over thinking it.

Calling for a slider there is bad; hanging the slider is worse. Nonetheless, I'm excited about Castillo.
