It would be nice to wrap up a sweep today, but the real key is the series coming up. The Reds REALLY need 2/3 or better against the Cubs!

Reds score two in the first and Mahle gives them right back by letting Sabdoval hit a opposite field Home Run. Just terrible.

Senzel gets the lead back with a double. Reds up 3-2. Votto has struck out twice.

Puig with a homer in the sixth, extends the lead to 4-2.

Some junk pitcher just threw a 91 MPH fastball right down the middle on a 2-0 count and Votto swings right threw it. He knew what was coming and still could not hit it. He struckout for the third time. Keep telling me that there is nothing wrong with Votto.

Mahle gives up a two run Home Run to Belt in bottom of 7th after a walk to tie the game on a curve ball. The only pitch you can hang. Over shadows a great pitching performance. Tied at 4-4. Now we know why Bell goes to his bullpen in the 7th inning.

Really don’t understand taking Casali down here. Bell had to know they would bring in Watson and turn around Barnhart. I liked the Casali matchup much better.
