That stat came out a few weeks ago that said the Reds were 30th in base running. We want to keep our rating.

Votto starts the tenth with a check swing at a ball in the dirt. Catcher misses the ball and Votto just lumbers back to the dugout. He already played nine innings and he was tired.

Votto is getting paid 25 million and canít force a throw when a 3rd strike kicks away in extras. He even looked and saw the ball rolling.

Itís those things that will kill you.

And Cowboys explanation of him, ďsimply being too frustrated to runĒ is garbage.

He even looked back to see it kicked away! I defend Votto a lot, but that’s unreal.

At this point I’d rather have a position player lobbing strikes across the plate.

These are the games that make you realize they aren’t there yet.

Hard to believe it’s 4-4, but sure feels like it won’t be for long.

Jared Hughes comes in and walks the first batters.

This team is not even a .500 ball team. I am accused of being too negative but this is the most negative stupid plays and bad baseball that I have ever seen a Reds team do.

Can’t walk 9 guys, 5 by your bullpen. Can’t happen.

They finally put us out of our misery. Reds lose 5-4 and Stephenson had him in an 0-2 count. We got what we deserved tonight.

Has Acuna 0-2 and throws him a pitch to hit and we lose. This is why we are not quite there gentlemen. If these issues continue next season it will not matter how good our pitching is. We walked 9 batters tonight. Another 1 run loss and we literally could, and should be above 500. Hard to watch all of these mistakes we constantly make.

I agree, I’ve talked about our sloppy baseball all year and got ripped for it on here.

You all got ripped for it being the only things you mentioned. Reds could win 11 to 0 and you all still would only have negative post in the game. You all have been better lately, and have at least also commented on some of the good things too. Hence, why you all don't get as much pushback on things.

Players watching strike three bounce away and not even running is plain bad and needs mentioned. 9 walks in a game is very bad, sending the runner home there in the 9th is very bad. You won't really see anyone disagree, it was bad! For awhile there you all went over the top and with some players were almost on a pitch by pitch basis of saying what they did wrong, but would never even mention the good things that happened. Which is why people responded to you all that way. You all been much better lately at least attempting to balance it out. So you are not going to get much push back for saying the idiot moves they did tonight.

It’s not just the players. It’s the coaching staff too. Sending players home when they have no chance to score. They double switch so much that they’re out of position players by the 9th inning. Is it any wonder the players play such stupid baseball.
