Romano only goes 4 tonight, giving up 5 runs.

All the runs given up by the starters in the first 4 innings. After that, both bullpens pitch shutout ball. Sox win opener 5-4.

This will be a tough matchup for the Sox. Fister has scuffled his last couple of starts and Stephenson is pitching well. Hopefully Boston's bats get going early.

I clicked on the wrong day. It is Rodriguez for the Sox. Still not the best matchup.

That was a nice tribute to Bronson Arroyo before the game. Nice video and gifts by both the Red Sox and Reds. We didn't stick around for the concert afterwards.

Red Sox come back from a 4-1 deficit to complete the sweep 5-4. The Red Sox are now 12-1 vs the Reds since interleague play began.

Turned it on and it was 4-1, with the Reds batting in the 7th. So that means the comeback happened against the bullpen. Who (I'm assuming multiple people) blew it?

Lorenzen gave up 2 in 1/3 of an inning and Iglesias gave up 2 in one inning. Mookie Betts scored the game winner from second base on an infield single.
