He is so much fun to watch.
For sure. Nice to see him reach base 4 times last night. Opens up so many things for the guys at the plate.

They need Badenhop to get going. That outing sure wasn't good for his confidence after a rough spring training.

Make sure that you stop by Fan Accommodations. They will print you a free certificate for your son's first game.

Let's get one more today with no more rain haha!

My wife mentioned that to me, too. (She's working so this is a guys trip!). Where is Fan Accommodations located? I'll likely be coming in the front/main gate.

I didn't want to post this before the game last night, but Leake hasn't lost to the Pirates since some time in 2012.

Turn left when you walk into the main gate. You'll walk past elevators on your left, then another gate, then it will be right there on your left. I can't remember the stand next to it because it changed. But if you turn and look at the field, you'll see home plate from there. Not far out of your way.

Or, if you're going upstairs. Go up the escalator and there will be one right in front of you.

If anything, just ask someone right when you walk in and they'll point you in the right direction.

Nobody is getting the day off after a late night:

    Hamilton
    Votto
    Frazier
    Mesoraco
    Bruce
    Byrd
    Phillips
    Cozard
    DeSclafani

Good. No off days against the division rivals. This team really needs to get off to a good start

Leake was bad on the pitching side. Walks will haunt. He doesn't have the "stuff" to walk people. I'm sure he will improve.

Huge # of Ks for the offense last night. Maybe that is just who they are.

Hamilton getting on base is important to alot of other factors with this team. Need disruption. Votto will see better pitches.

Hoover -- so far, so good.

Walks will haunt was on very clear display last night. Three of the four runners who scored for the Pirates last night got on base with a lead off walk. In the Reds winning rally ... Cozart HBP, Hamilton walk then the Votto hit. if you want to teach your young pitchers the problem with walks, last night's game is a great example
