Glad to see our bull pen has picked up where they left off last season

Cueto pitches a gem and the Reds are up 2-0 and the bull pen comes in and gives up 2 run homer to tie lol

    They are so bad

Sitting here watching the game and called that after Lambo worked the long at bat and just missed hitting a home run twice. I thought maybe Gregg had some magic left in the glasses but apparently not. Lorenzon should be brought up before Wednesday.

Does it matter who is brought up? This bullpen is horrendous.

Price sits in the dugout and watches Pirates hit rockets off Gregg and then let's our fourth or fifth best pitcher face their best hitter with Diaz warm in the bullpen. That is why Cueto will not re-sign and the Reds will not win 80 games. Terrible!

How do you send down Lecure who has a good history with the Reds for Gregg. If he still threw mid 90s I'd get it but he doesn't, he throws BP. I honestly had no idea he lost that much velocity, he's useless. Lorenzen throws mid to upper 90s and is only 23, he can also throw multiple innings and be used as an emergency pinch hitter. Bring him up please.

Looks like Gregg didn't lose a thing in his almost 10 months off...

Gregg and Hoover in the same bullpen should be worth about 12 blown games at least.

Ummm yeah? If you want to win ball games it certainly does matter, the bullpen is horrible so we are just supposed to concede the season. Lorenzen at least has some potential. It's one game into the season and Gregg possibly blew a win, that hardly makes the entire bullpen terrible. He's only one guy. I'll give the other guys a chance to see how they pitch this year before saying the pen is horrible.

Why was Diaz not brought in to start the inning. Gregg should not be on this team with all the young arms the Reds have. Did Gregg throw any pitches over 90?

Look who they have as middle relievers....they are horrible, they were horrible last year (those that actually pitched last year). It's not a mystery about Hoover and the guys.

The Reds for years have struggled at the plate and to have the bullpen blowing leads makes for a bad combination.

Horrible base running by Hamilton in the 8th inning. He is on 1st, Votto at bat and he has a full count and Hamilton doesn't go on the pitch. Votto hits a base hit into left and Hamilton only gets to 2nd.

    that is horrible
