With Dee Gordon gone, maybe Billy will finally win a SB title.

Stanton put his desirable locations at the Yanks, Dodgers, Cubs, Astros. Sounds like he’s tired of losing. I don’t think the Astros can afford him. I think the luxury tax is keeping the Dodgers away. I’d be surprised if the Cubs try very hard if at all, as I expect them to go after Harper next year. Yankees seem most likely IMO.

^ Pujols wasn't even a replacement level player last year.

Votto had 97 at bats with runners in scoring position. Pujols had 174.

Jeter's ownership group will result in the Marlins moving away from Miami within 6 seasons. They paid too much for a team with too much debt and an already shaky fanbase. That fanbase is gone now.

Do they have a stadium agreement with Miami?

Where would they go? (Not being sarcastic here, just haven't heard anything rumored.)

Off the top of my head, here are sites that already have another pro team or two...

    Indianapolis
    Nashville
    Charlotte
    Montreal
    Las Vegas
    Oklahoma City
    New Orleans
    Portland

Sounds like they're shooting for Donaldson, Longoria, or Machado still.
