Sounds like Latos will be DFA'd.

How strange that of the Cueto, Latos, Simon, Leake departures that Simon would be the one that had the most value.

I'd say that is very much still up for debate. Walt has done a nice job on all four trades based on early returns...

I meant most value to the team that received the former Red.

Should the Reds make a run to bring Latos back? That would make for some interesting clubhouse drama.

No way, this Latos is kind of crazy, whiny and injured a lot. He's on the decline and Descalfani is on his way up,

I wouldn't trade him for Disco but would consider bringing him back. A lot of fans were 50/50 on whether to keep Cueto or Latos prior to the trades.

Crazy, he was about to be in line for a huge payday this off season if he did well this year.

Yes, grand slam to Posey, who by the way owns him. We have some good young arms and need to run them out there next couple years and hope we have some outfielders that can bat above 225..

He took over game one when Cueto got hurt in the first inning and led them to the W which was pretty big time. Game 5 he was dealin thru 5 I believe and then unraveled with the Posey GS.

Honestly that pretty much sums it up. I have faith that Winker can do that, but he's about the only one.

Sam Lecure took that game over when Cueto got hurt, Latos won game 2. Winker just got ranked #1 OF prospect, I heard this don't know if it is true
