    Joey Votto apology to Canada.

I actually believe this apology, good to be humbled from time to time.

The Toronto native said he is "terribly ashamed" of his comments and called them "ridiculously selfish and short-sighted" in an email posted on the Canadian Baseball Network website.

I believe he also apologized recently to Reds management about a comment he made.

Next he is going to apologize to plantman for irritating him by being one of the best Reds hitters of all time.

As great as Joey Votto is he is still an "airhead" at times and nothing he says or does surprises me.

I don't feel like he had a reason to apologize.

Votto is a jerk, people have just shrugged it off for years. Doesn’t matter as long as he hits the ball.

How exactly is he a jerk?

I'll give you he's an odd dude, but not sure how that makes him a jerk.

He’s always been a jerk, taunting fans with foul balls, chasing down foul balls before fans can get them on the road, called a Reds fat, after the fan was messing with Votto on “still being good.” Calling out his country on their baseball lol.

Who cares though as long as he’s productive. The Tiger effect, just play good golf, we don’t care what you do at home.

Most people just have blinders on and refuse to see it.
