Jesse Winker deserves to be the RF for the Red's big league club

Okay I know it's a small sample size but here are Jessie's stats for 2017. I think the biggest concern for Jessie was that he didn't have the needed power to fill a corner OF spot at the big league level. I'll take the obp everyday and bet that the HRs will come. What say you?

    Louisville 299 PAs .314 avg. .395 obp, 2 HRs
    Cincinnati 91 ABs .275avg. .365 obp, 6 HRs

He definitely needs to play everyday for the remainder of the season and I think he's the leading candidate for 2018.

I think an argument could be made for tradin Duvall over Schebler. Take away the time he was hurting with the should issue and his numbers a very solid. One of them has go if you was giving Winker an everyday job.

Agreed and the bottom line for me with Duvall and Schebler is obp. I'm tired of watching swing and miss guys all throughout the Red's lineup. I don't care how many HRs they hit. I'll take guys who make contact and can get on base at at least a 1/3 percentage, .333. If that's Schebler then so be it, his obp. is much better than Duvall's.
