    Giancarlo Stanton to the Yankees

Source: Stanton from #Marlins to #Yankees is “virtually done.” Close to finish line. Hear #Marlins will get at least Starlin Castro plus good but not top prospects if completed. Again physical review can still be part of this so nothing final, but close.

During the UK/Monmouth game, ESPN reminded me of my five year old. They first asked Boone about the addition and he declined, then moments later the sideline reporter asked Cashman the same question.

Hopefully Stanton will turn this deal down like he did the other ones.

This was one of the teams he wanted to go to.

Only the Yankees can steal a 59 HR guy and absorb that much contract money, $265m of the remaing $295m contract.

Yankees really didn't need another hitter, unless he played 3b. They need pitching. They won't be getting that with this deal.

Between Stanton and Judge there's going to be some bombs hit.

I will go on record right now and say that the Yankees are not in the World Series, just call it a hunch.

You don't spend millions of dollars to buy a team just to help your former team. As they seen they weren't winning with him. Might as well save money get new players and build from the bottom up.

agree but also think Florida wasn't far away from contending. They did have a solid lineup.
