Jul 13, 17, 10:48 AM #5Q has been up and down his year, good contract though. A lot of Cubs fans on Twitter are shocked, Jimenez was supposed to be their future jewel. Guess their pitching, or lack thereof, forced their hand.

Jul 13, 17, 10:54 AM #6I'm disappointed we gave up Eloy. I guess we're in the "win now" mode while we have Rizz, KB, Russell, Baez, etc. under team control. I still look for us to move Schwarber or Happ.

Jul 13, 17, 11:01 AM #8I guess this means the Cubs are more sold on Hayward, Happ and Schwarber in the OF. At least on Heyward and Happ. Maybe they really are intending on going after Harper when he becomes a free agent.

Jul 13, 17, 11:05 AM #9Does this really improve the Cubs pitching all that much?
Arrieta, Hendricks, Lester, and Lackey have all been average at best when they've been healthy. Quintana is having his worst season (statistically) of his career.

Jul 13, 17, 11:32 AM #12He went 13-12 with a 3.20 ERA last season and he's 4-8 with a 4.49 ERA and you trade all that for him? I could understand if it was Verlander or Gray but Quintana? You have to be kidding me....What are you thinking Theo?
WOW.....

Jul 13, 17, 11:37 AM #13His last 7 starts 2.70 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 10.13 K/9...He's also under contract until 2020
Have to be unloading players to go all in on Harper
