    Did anyone watch John Lackey closely today? What a hothead. He even threw a little tantrum when Rizzo made his error. It was very Chris Carpenter like.

    I think I would rather watch Arroyo pitch than about anyone. Sure, he's gonna get lit up at times when he's not pinpoint accurate, but it's amazing how he can get ML hitters out with that stuff. I'm sure batters simply shake their heads when they head back to the dugout after a K on a 68 mph whiffle ball. Bronson is a such a cerebral pitcher. If I was part of the leadership brass, I would want all my young pitchers just soaking up everything Arroyo has to say about pitching.

    Yep, which is why I'm not worried about him giving up 3 HR/9 at this point. Hopefully he's teaching those young guys how to pitch.
