    Cubs at Reds (8/8 - 8/11)

Big Series, maybe the biggest of the year. If the Reds are going to truly be in it, this weekend is the time to make the move.
The Reds come in 4 games under .500 and 7 games behind the Cubs in the standings.

    Thursday 7:10
    Cole Hamels 6-3, 2.84 ERA
    Alex Wood 1-0, 3.18 ERA

    Friday 7:10
    Yu Darvish 4-5, 4.36 ERA
    Trevor Bauer 9-8, 3.85 ERA

    Saturday 7:10
    Kyle Hendricks 8-8, 3.06 ERA
    Sonny Gray 6-6, 3.25 ERA

    Sunday 1:10
    Jon Lester 9-8, 4.39 ERA
    Luis Castillo 11-4, 2.63 ERA

The Reds are 7-5 against the Division-Leading Cubs this year, winning 3 out of 4 series with the Cubs so far. The Reds and Cubs will face off one last time mid-September in Chicago for three games.

Is this the closest the Reds have been to a .500 record since the start of the season?

Let's go! Cubs absolutely stink away from Wrigley, which means they'll likely sweep us at GABP. Wouldn't be surprised if one of the Cubs pitchers throws a no-no at us.

Cubs do not have their catcher, closer and another player I think. But they called up Ian Happ and he destroys us. He just hit a grand slam. Addison Russell is also in the minors.

I am saying that tonight may be the most important game of the season. Lose tonight and it will be difficult to get three out of four. Let's go Alex Wood.

Crowd should be buzzing. Fill some seats so that our pal @MJAlltheWay24 can make some good money this weekend!

I think tonight may be a little slow but the rest of the weekend should definitely be busy. I sure hope they win tonight and get people extra fired up. Should be a fun weekend.
