Starting pitching isnt so bad so far, but now the Cubs are in town. Need to split this series.

    Opening Day 2.0

Basically just to have the parade. Kinda goofy.

At the very least he should be sent to Triple-A, but I'm not against giving him his outright release.

A guy that, in 1 pinch hit appearance, has 1 more hit than our regularly starting SS has through the first 3 games.

Still playing Hamilton. Amazing. That guy needs to be a late inning replacement or pinch runner and play maybe 2 times a week.

Each of the 4 are going to play 3 of every 4 games.

Pennington is a veteran utility guy who is a solid defensive shortstop that the Reds picked up in the offseason and he played his way onto the roster in spring training. I have no problem with him replacing Peraza in the lineup today. Peraza didn't look like a major league player at the plate or in the field in that first three game series.

Big issue with him being on the roster is they have two guys in the minors that completely outplayed him this spring that are more versatile. Those guys are in AAA. Doesn't make much sense to me since Pennington and Gosselin are essentially the same player.
