    Since 2010, Votto has almost 5000 ABs and has popped up only 7 times.

    Maybe the fact that he has given up 144 ERs in 194 innings since the 2014 season, (6.68 era) might play into how the offense feels when he is on the mound. They probably don't have a lot of confidence in winning with him on the bump.
