This is the Reds brain trust we are talking about. Roster management doesn't seem to be a strong point.

This is true. Not sure what I was thinking.

Gotta love GABP. Frazier goes yard on what looked like a Pop fly.

I'm pretty excited to see Lorenzen at the plate. Hopefully he's put in a position to help himself with some runners on.

Lind has hit about .500 in the 7 games against the Reds I think.

    1-1 in the 2nd.

Lorenzen throwing batting practice now. The Brewers are smoking it.

    2-1 Brewers in the 2nd.

Can't remember the exact length of time but over something like the last 7 games Votto is hitting .105.

And Lorenzen ropes a single into right in his first big league AB.

This Mesoraco thing really just blows my mind. 3 PA's and zero starts since April 12th. Walt = Joke.

    Yep. It's indefensible.

Sorry I spelled his name wrong. I am sure the Braves thought Glavine was awful as a rookie, and he ended up great, it takes more than a rookie year to just say the heck with that guy. Cingrani will be fine, and he needs to start period.

62 pitches already for Lorenzen in the top of 3. Tony Cingrani wannabe.

Lets slow down a little. It's his first big league start.

How do Mesoraco's AB's in that time match up with Negron, Boesch, Schumaker? Mesoraco is essentially taking the place of Dominguez. What would Dominguez's numbers look like since 4/12 if he was the one here and Mesoraco were on the DL?

Really nice bounce-back inning there for Lorenzen. 67 pitches through 3 though. Looking like 5 innings is going to be his ceiling today.
