    I listened to Marty as a boy on my transistor radio and it is just sad to see him go. Sure makes me feel old.

    Oh, absolutely. Just don't know what happens to this kid at times. Mows 'em down for a few innings then the walks. Something to definitely work on for next season.

    And really looked overmatched. The last strikeout in the 9th, the first swinging strike I swear the ball was in the catcher's glove as he was swinging he was so late on it. Well, lots to work on for darn sure.

    Waite Hoyt was the guy I listened to as a kid so you can guess how old I feel (and actually am).
