Braves at Reds (4/23 - 4/26)

Page 3 of Seems weird that the Reds only come home for a four game series and then bounce for the weekend. I'm predicting two wins. Advertisement 0 0 0   &n... 108 comments | 2523 Views | Go to page 1 →

Tickets are cheap but @MJAlltheWay24's beer is still expensive.

I can avoid him at a Reds game, I can never get past him at a Bengals game.

Brandon McCarthy v. Tyler Mahle tomorrow.

McCarthy partially dislocated his non-pitching shoulder on April 11th. 2-0 with 2.76 ERA & 13 K's in his last 3 starts.

Mahle has a 3-start losing streak but was decent last outing (5 IP, 2 runs vs. Brewers). He's 0-3 with a 7.20 ERA in his last 3 starts.

You won't be able to avoid him at a Reds game these days. With only 3 fans for every beer vendor, he will find you.

If I come to a Reds game I am going to hunt you down.

Did a heckuva a lot of walking tonight. Some nights it is more about getting in a workout than selling beer.

With only 9500 in attendance there was probably quite a bit of distance between fans.

And that number feels drastically inflated at that.

I didn't watch the game but it certainly didn't look like 9,500 -- or anywhere close to 9,500 -- from the highlights.

One key decision Price doesn't make last night....Bases loaded, no outs in the 6th, tie game. Braves have a lefty on the mound. Reds PH with Gosselin, a righty. Braves make a pitching change to bring Moylan in. Riggleman counters by replacing Gosselin with Winker, who proceeds to get the go-ahead RBI single.

There's zero % chance Price doesn't let Gosselin fail there.

I would have guessed 2,500-3,000, plus whatever was in the club levels.

If anyone has been to a game or going to one any time soon, I'd be curious to know what Scooter Gennett's walk up song is.
