Along with the other 28 teams. I'd say everyone has called the Mets about Thor. I don't think the Cubs have the prospects remaining to pull off that trade.

If and that’s a big IF, the Cubs get involved, it’ll include some big league, cost controlled guys.

It will. About 2-3 and at least a couple of big time prospects. The Mets want a king's ransom for him.

If I'm the Reds, I call up the Mets and see what it'll take to land Thor and let them know you're starting your package off with Iglesias and Senzel.

Mariners and Mets seem to have a big deal in the works. Robinson Cano appears to be headed back to the Big Apple, while former Red Jay Bruce may be headed to the Pacific northwest.

Also, speaking of former Reds...the Mets also signed Dilson Herrera (to a minor league deal), who the Reds originally got from the Mets in the trade for...Jay Bruce.

After picking him up in a trade, the Cubs have now non-tendered Ronald Torreyes, thus making him a free agent.

Looks like the Mariners and Mets trade is done.

Mets will get: Cano, Diaz and $20MIL.

Mariners will get: Bruce, Swarzak, Kelenic, Dunn and Bautista.

Mariners are saving right at $64MIL with this deal.

It’s been a frustrating offseason thus far. Mets and Phillies are making all kinds of moves and all we’ve done is let people walk or owe people PTBNL.

The Mets aren't improving though. They just seem to be making moves to make moves.
