    Brandon Kintzler has picked up his player option and will remain with the cubs next season

    Yankees have re-signed pitcher CC Sabathia to a 1-year 8MM$ contract. He plans to retire at the end of the 2019 season.

    Heck of a career and one of the most respected within baseball. I hope he gets involved with helping others after his career. What a story he has to share about walking away from the game and shutting it down to overcome alcoholism, but then return and have success again.

    Yankess have a deal for Seattle's James Paxton. Looks like Seattle will get top prospect Justus Sheffield (P), Dom Thompson-Williams (OF) and Erik Swanson (P).

    Adrian Beltre has announced his retirement. Hate to see him go, he was always a blast to watch. A personality I was always shocked that MLB didn't latch on to and promote more throughout his career.

    A sure Hall of Famer that many people would be surprised if you said that to them. Perhaps the most under-the-radar Hall of Fame player of my lifetime.
