Ryan Kelly is the 171 from Sheldon Clark. I would say he will be region champ.

This could be Region 8's year.

Thay have always been very competitive, but always seemed to be edged out by either region 6 or 7. This year however we may be crowning a new top region.

Lets see what the state tourney brings us.

Cody Zacur (171) from Ashland is a good. He took 1st place at Tate’s Creek last Saturday - winning all of his matches by pin. He just moved to Kentucky this year, so you may not have seen him yet.

Yes Singley ,189 reg champ last year,letcher kid , Harlow mccreary,wayne.Will be hard to make state at 160 also.Region 8 is tough this year.

At 215 it will be Tanon Roe Mccreary he has only 3 losses to top 4 guys in state.He has already beaten everyone in the region easily,even Chaffin.
