Volp to Sign LOI with UK on Wednesday

CCH's Alex Volpenhein will be signing his National Letter of Intent to UK on Wednesday at CCH after school.

I bet ol' Don will be there filming.

    Hats off to Volp.

    Congrats to him.

Did he have to sit out of the state finals?

Can anyone recall a D 1 signee that was not on the All-region team? I realize it was because of injury, but that might be a NKY first in all sports.

I was wondering how you can name him honorable mention. You either name him the best golfer in the region regardless of injury or you leave him completely off the list.

Volp had to sit out most of the season with a bad back after winning the JR PGA over the summer consisting of about 35 states I believe.

Heard yesterday that Jordan Blann will be leaving the team to transfer back home to WKU. Derek Oldham from Lex. Christian verbally committed to Coach Craig yesterday. As we can see the program def. has changed when it takes less than 24 hours to land a good recruit after the fall signing period to replace a transfer.
