    Conner 10 Cooper 0

    Final.

Big news (at least for me) is that 8th grader Olivia Henry got her first varsity start, win, and shutout for the Cougars.

To say she's special to me is an understatement. Sad that I had to be in Columbus for work and had to miss it.

Only about 108 Ws behind Biz now.

    Get to work, O.

    Proud of you.

Good family genes, cousin (if i'm correct) of former Boone Co. (2013) player Erika Stein. Oliva is one her way to being another great Conner pitcher following the footsteps of "Biz" and Kelsey Robinson.

Correct on Erika being her cousin.

How often is Henry expected to pitch this year? That's pretty impressive for the young lady.

Backs up a 6 year varsity starter, and a damn good one at that......thank God she runs out of eligibility after this season.

Her strength is her ability to change speed and location. She is far from a power pitcher. Change up is getting really good.

Agreed. She hits spots and change up is much improved.
She pitched well against WV last night.
Her summer coaches were there watching her and they all seemed excited with her and the rest of the talent that they have on that summer team.
