Good game played by both teams, bunch of missed calls by refs though.

@mcpapa Let me know if you plan on attending tomorrow's game, I will check back with ya around 1 or so.

No, they won their last game with Dixie. They have lost five of their last seven.

Mason with a big first quarter and second quarter belong to Scott and Clephane. She scored 19 in the quarter and Scott made 12-13 Free Throws. She lowered her shoulder and drove to the basket and a foul was called often putting four of the top six on the bench with two fouls. Mason come out hot in the third to take back control of the game. The lead stayed 8 to 10 most of the rest of the game. Whitney O'Mara lead Mason with 22 and Briana McNutt with 16. Anna Clephane lead Scott with a game high 36 with 16 of 17 from the line. Two good teams.

Mason gave a great team effort. They pass well, rebound well, and really shoot well when they need to....tonight that meant Quarters 1 and 3.

Scott needs to go back to spelling class and learn D-E-F-E-N-S-E and R-E-B-O-U-N-D...

    Clephane dominated.

    Still 50/50.

Although we could have talked some after the Mason-MoCo game on Wednesday.

I'm surprised Stapleton only had 13. I thought for sure she hit 10 threes! MC didn't do a good job of finding her. The young lady can shoot!

Clephane is a really good player. MC tried several girls on her. I thought the officials called it differently whenever she had the ball and that's how so many MC girls got in foul trouble. But to her credit she kept attacking. Next 2 years with her and Stapleton should be good for Scott. They need one of the bigs to step up on the glass and I think then watch out for them.

Whitney needed a good game. She's been struggling a little lately. McNutt IMO has been the best player for the last couple weeks. She IMO needs to be in consideration for one of the spots on the 2nd or 3rd team all-region.
