    First Montgomery and then Boone.

Nice two wins for the Lady Royals.

Makes the upcoming regional tournament very interesting. Is this the year Mason can do it in March? Talent is there. Just have to make plays.

Anyone have any stats or info from this game?
Sounds like it was a close one.

Mason fell behind by 10 early in the first quarter, but fought back much in the same fashion as they did in the Montgomery win. Still waiting on stats, but I believe Cline was the high scorer, unofficially with 22, 18 in the second half. Maybe Sumoroyal might be able to get official stats in.

Just got home and a great road win for the Lady Royals. Fell behind 10 in first quarter after DeSarae Chambers got poked in the eye. It effected her for the rest of the game. Mason cut it to four at half and came out and jumped on them early in the third quater and outscored them 21-17 to gain a three point lead. Mason led the entire fourth quarter and was up 65-60 and Mason missed three one plus one. Mason survived a three pointer out of the corner to get the win. Just a note, Boone did get the rebound and banked in a three pointer but well after the buzzer. Mason was led by Lacey Cline with 22 and a great game, as well as Kasey Litzinger with 17 pts and 11 rebounds. Torrey Chambers had 13 pts and 13 boards. Mason was only hurt when Boone played both tall girls at the same time. Boone scored 14 third qtr points and 10 by Brasseaux. Mason had a hard time guarding both but un-explainingly Brasseaux never played the last 4:50 of the game. Great win over a State tournament quality team. Lady Royals peaking at the right time.

My goodness, is there anyone that has played a tougher schedule than Boone this year? I almost wonder if it has been too tough?

So not to confuse the NKY faithful, both tall girls were Brasseaux/Behrens. This presented Mason a match-up problem as they were only able to match- up w/one of them at a time. Brasseaux scored 16pts/13 min and as stated above never played the last 4 or so min.

Boone just can not get over that hump and put teams away when they should. One trip down the floor, they look like a national contender and the very next trip couldn't beat a freshman team. Hopefully, things will change these next few weeks.

Both teams' schedule are tough - Mason has lost 9 games this year and Boone has lost 8.

Would like to have seen the game but we were in Louisville for all-state choir.

Congrats to the Lady Royals on beating a quality team on the road. Great preparation for tournament time.

    MC: Cline 22, Menke 2, T. CHambers 13, D. Chambers 11, Litzinger 17

    BC: Bradley 4, Switzer 4, Behrens 18, Reed 7, Hicks 9, Brasseaux 16, Findley 2, Sparrow 2

Looks like the Lady Royals are beginning to roll at the right time. This is another big when for them against a 9th region contender. I believe that controlling the tempo of games will be key for Mason Co. come tourny time.

Great win for the Lady Royals. Boone is a top notch team. Congrats Lady Royals, looks like a very promising run the Lady Royals have going. Bad news for the rest of the 10th region.

The lady Bears need to be ready in the districts because it appears to be that the Lady Royals are on a hot streak.

The Lady Royals are on a roll, but they better not overlook the Lady Bears.
