      How far Lawrence County goes will depend on the play of Senior Taylor Porter. She's the engine (and a quick one at that) of this team. The Lady Dawgs were 20-11 last season under new coach Roger Harless and look to improve on that this season. Harless does have a hole to fill with the loss of guard Lena Ison to graduation, but the cupboard is far from bare. If a strong sophomore class can supplement Porter and help take the pressure off her to score, a deep postseason run may be in the cards for the group from Louisa.

      Lawrence County lost in a 1st round district game to Johnson Central 56-49 last season.
