We wouldn't want great D1 caliber players to play on the all star team versus a state rival? Funny.
We obviously don't otherwise Lexi Held would have been one of the first chosen. She is a power 5 player, ranked ahead of all of Mercer's kids except Robbins. Mercer's coach has three of his kids on the team. Two of them are mid-majors. You are telling me they are more deserving than Held. VERY FUNNY!

My bad bro. I forgot each team only had 1 player and CLEARLY you feel Lexi H is the queen of the crop. Grudgingly, I easily/quickly agree with you that Lexi is a very nice player and congrats to her for earning a spot with DePaul. Conversely, you seem to agree with me that Robins is a great player. They BOTH can play.

On the other hand, since the game is actually played with 5 players ... what in the world is your point? There is no "ranking" or "first chosen" on this team OTHER than Robins gets an assumed/automatic spot due to Miss Basketball honors. Beyond that, you are either on or off the list. Certain Coach Thacker has a list/ranking in his mind but no one other than possibly the assistants would be aware of it.

Would seem the bur in your saddle would be Mercer and 3 players versus misinterpreting the All Star Roster announcement as a ranking. No one -- including me -- said any of Mercer's players (including Robins) are "better" than Lexi H. They ALL DESERVE TO BE ON THIS TEAM.

One month from now on July 24th will you be able to tell me the details of this game? You guys are taking a fun game the really means nothing in the grand scheme of things and turning into an argument. Who Cares! You can't put every player in the state on it, they had tryouts and of those that were at tryouts this is who they choose. I am good with it and think they all are deserving.

Let's be real about one thing....the tryout was to fill 1 to 3 spots...I have no problem with that...A few of the players (quite a few IMO) were rewarded with a spot on the team based on their career numbers..and where they are playing at the next level, NOT how they did in the tryout or how they showed out in the game that followed or the previous All Star game.(except for the before mentioned 1-3 open spots). .Again, I have no problem with that. But be honest about it. All that being said, good luck to the Ky. All Stars!
