I also see where Katie is up for Larosa MVP this week. Give her a vote, is always nice to see a Kentucky girl win.

I also might add to my previous post. Did anyone that was at the Scot/Campbell girls game last night notice Nancy Winstel in the stands during the game.

Coach Winstel was in the front row. Tibbs would look good in black and gold in a couple of years. Who else could she have been watching?

Kitchen......I have heard there is some mutual interest. Besides, this is a Katie Kitchen thread!

Coach Cravens has done a nice job developing her over the years into a good, all-round player who can play inside or outside. Congrats to Katie and Coach Cravens. Not to many coaches have members in the 1000 point club.

Actually I had read a newpaper article about Katie Kitchen, and the article said that she would like to attend NKU and play basketball there. So, I pretty much figured that she was there to watch Katie play. I think that's great, and best of luck to Katie.

Congratulations to Katie! After the broken finger still able to achieve her 1000th pt on her 1st game back.. Best of luck with the rest of your season!!!!!

Go Katie! Very nice young lady and a great family!
It would be great if she is able to play at NKU. That is a very high level and she would have to play guard. I know they have signed a super guard from Glen Este coming next season.
IMO she may fit better in a smaller program. She is easily one of the best players in the 10th region, but NKU is a major step up for almost all players in N. KY.

I think Dad was a multi-sport athlete in HS, pretty decent basketball player at Deer Park.
