      Default Head Coach vs. Former Assistant Coach

      Next thursday at the newly rennovated gym of Bellevue High School, Former Bellevue's boys head coach, Kent Vories, takes his new squad of Newport Girls to play against his former assistant coach Tommy Sorrell of the Bellevue girls in a scrimmage.. Any thoughts?

      still not clear on why Bellevue's coach last year was let go. There was a lot of hush hush but no definitive answer. Any insights without giving too much information?

      He wasn't let go. He chose to make the switch on his own

      Champions aren't made in gyms.Champions are made from something they have deep inside them.They have to have last minute stamina; they have to be a little faster; they have to have the skill and the will.But the will must be stronger than the skill.

      Unfortunately, I couldn't make it out to this scrimmage. Anyone see it? How did the teams look?

      Both teams are young and both have some talent. New coaches, new philosophies. Lots to learn for both teams but both teams seem to be adjusting well.
      It seemed to be a nice reunion for the Coach Vories & Coach Sorrell, even some of last year's assistants showed up for support.
