1.Shelby Valley (18-3):
Shelby Valley continues to dominate the 15th region and be a nightmare for their opponents. Lady Cats have won 7 of their last 8 games with their lone loss coming to Owensboro Catholic who ended Shelby Valley’s 6 game win streak.

Shelby Valley will host East Ridge on Friday.


2.Magoffin County (13-7):
Lady Hornets started the season off slugglish going 4-4 and 6-6 but have since won 7 of their pervious 8 games. 3 of those wins came against region opponents but they did take a bad loss, falling to Paintsville 63-62 a team they defeated 62-49 earlier in the season.

Magoffin County travelsto Johnson Central on Friday, a team they just beat last week, 54-52.


3.Johnson Central (12-8);
Lady Eagles are picking up steam after a rough mid-season. Lady Eagles had went 2-5 in their previous 7 games before going 5-1 (current 3 game win streak) in their last 6 games. Lady Eagles lone loss came to #2 Magoffin County last week, ironically, these two teams will meet up in Johnson County tomorrow night.


4.East Ridge (14-9):
East Ridge is having a hard time putting back to back wins together lately, going 3-5 in their last 8 games. Lady Warriors have been known to put back to back wins together as they have during the season but as of now they are struggling too.

East Ridge travels to Shelby Valley on Friday.


5.Pikeville (11-7)
Lady Panthers had been doing good things putting together a 5 game win streak together before falling, since that 5 game win streak, the Lady Panthers have won just 1 game out of their last 3, the lone win came against Prestonsburg.


6.Paintsville (10-10):
Lady Tigers picked up a big win last week, defeating #2 Magoffin County 63-62. Freshmen guard, Anna Keeton led the way with 19 points. Freshmen guard, Elizabeth Williams added 16 and Sophomore guard/forward Presley Chirco added 13 for the Lady Tigers.

Paintsville will host Sheldon Clark on Friday.


7.Pike County Central (11-13):
Lady Hawks are struggling lately, going 1-3 in their last 4 games. 8 of Pike Central’s 10 wins have came against region opponents and not to mention, the Lady Hawks are 4-2 in district play.

Pike Central will host June Buchanan on Friday.


8.Betsy Layne (10-10):
After a rough start to the season and being batted around through out the season, the Lady Wildcats have seen some daylight, winning 3 of their last 5 games with 2 of them being their current win streak.

Betsy Layne will look to make it 3 straight wins Friday when they travel to Allen Centarl.


9.Lawrence County (10-13):
Lawrence County has been an up and down team all season but here lately they have been getting things going in the right direction at the right time as they have won 5 of their last 8 games. They had won 3 of their first 8 games to begin the season.

Lawrence County will travel to Belfry on Friday.


10.Sheldon Clark (9-12):
Sheldon Clark has took a nose dive lately, going 2-6 in their last 8 games, 2 out of their last 5 games. 4 of their 9 wins have came against region opponents but they are winless in district play.

Sheldon Clark travels to Paintsville on Friday.


11.Belfry (7-9):
Belfry is looking to put 3 wins together, they’ve put 2 wins together this season but not 3.


12.South Floyd (8-10):
Lady Raiders are struggling at the moment, going 1-5 in their last 6 games.


13.Prestonsburg (4-20):
Lady Blackcats continue to struggle, in fact, they’ve only won 2 games since January 1st.


14.Phelps (6-11):
Lady Hornets started the season off 3-0 but have since only won 3 out of 14 games.


15.Allen Central (2-13):
Allen Central’s only wins have came against Cordia and Piarist School.


16.Piarist School (1-14):
Piarist School’s lone win came against Riverside Christian.
