1.Leslie County (3-1):
The Lady Eagles upset the ranked #1 Knott County Central Lady Patriots 53-45 on Saturday to knock them out of the top spot in the 14th region rankings this week. Letcher Central, Breathitt county, Buckhorn, Powell County and Betsy Layne await the Lady Eagles this week.

2.Knott County Central (3-1):
Knott Central was upset and knocked out of their top spot by Leslie County this past weekend but they have bounced back to defeat district foes, Jenkins and June Buchanan. Owsley County, Jackson City, Cordia and the Berea Lady Pirate Invitational await the Lady Patriots this week.

3.Breathitt County (4-0):
The Lady Cats continue to show that they are very much capable of winning the 14th region title this season with 4 straight victories to push their record to 4-0. The Lady Cats will have some good competition this week against Leslie County, Wolfe County and Letcher Central as they look to continue making a statement.

4.Powell County (3-1):
Powell County got a big win over Letcher Central last Saturday but would fall to Hazard on Monday 67-59 but would bounce back to defeat district rival, Lee County 54-50. Powell County will have a good test this week as they travel to Lexington to take on Tates Creek, Betsy Layne, Buckhorn and Leslie County also await the Lady Pirates.

5.Hazard (3-3):
Wins over Powell County and a 2 point loss to #3 Breathitt County have the Lady Bulldogs in at #5 this week but this week won’t be easy as they prepare to face Wolfe County before heading to Berea to participate in the Berea Invitational this weekend.

6.Jenkins (4-2):
Jenkins stand at 4-2 at the end of week 3 as they picked up wins 3 and 4 over John Burton and Lee VA. Jenkins won’t have any easy tasks this week as they prepare to face Perry Central before making their way to Tennessee.

7.Jackson City (3-2):
With the big win over Letcher Central to open up the season, the Lady Tigers have went 2-2 in their last 4 games with wins over Buckhorn and Riverside Christian but have suffered losses to June Buchanan and Breathitt County. Lady Tigers have a tall task ahead of them this week as they prepare to face #2 Knott County Central.

8.Perry County Central (2-1):
Just 3 games for the Lady Commodores so far this season as they’ve had some long gaps In between games but they stand at 2-1 with wins over Pike Central and Prestonsburgs.

9.Letcher County Central (2-3):
The Lady Cougars have had one of the worst starts in school history with just 2 wins and have been beaten by region foes, Jackson City and Powell County.

10.Estill County (3-3):
Estill County picked up two wins last week, a 68-65 thrilling win @ Buckhorn and then a 50-40 win over Lexington’s Tates Creek. Lady Engineers are getting big boosts from juniors Sidney Danyeur and McKenzie Flynn, who are averaging double-doubles a game.

11.Lee County (1-2):
Just 3 games so far for the Lady Katz, defeating Hazard to open the season but have since lost to Powell County and Buckhorn.

12.Owsley County (1-2):
The defending 56th district champs are off to a slow start this season.

13.Buckhorn (4-3):
Buckhorn seems to have gotten things on the right track during week 3 as they’ve went 3-1 with the lone loss coming to Estill County.

14.Wolfe County (2-2):
Since starting the season off 2-0 the Lady Wolves have dropped their last 2 games.

15.June Buchanan (2-2):
The Lady Crusaders picked up wins over Jackson City and Lawrence County this season but suffered losses to Jenkins and Knott Central.

16.Cordia (0-5):
The Lady Lions are struggling bad this season, have been blowed out in all of their games and it doesn’t look any better.

17.Riverside Christian (0-4):

Lady Rams are still looking to pick up win #1 this season.
