With Scott County moving down to 5A...

...how does that change the landscape of 6A?

It will make it tougher for a team outside of Jefferson Co. to win a title.

It will also make it easier for a lesser 6A school (teams like Ryle and Simon Kenton) to make it to the State Championship game.

One less public that could knock off the titan. Other than that it makes 5a interesting, well except for one school.

I dont forsee them being down in 5A for an extended amount of time honestly. The way that Scott Co. is growing, they will be back up in 6A quickly. I dont know how many more years McKee has left in the tank & I am interested to see just how the split impacts them, but they are all factors to consider.

Do we have to look ahead to 2023 in this thread or can we concentrate on 2019 to 2022?
