Why did Cooper and Conner voluntarily request to play in 6A?

I am interested as well. I am particularly interested if this is a financially motivated action by the BCSD. If it is, I believe it speaks to financial commitment to athletics. The fact that 3 of these schools still play on dirt fields tends to support this hypothesis.

Of course with the way some 6A schools up there avoid playing other 6A schools in the regular season maybe that won't be a problem.
It looks even deeper than that but I am not ready to speculate on Borchers state of mind just yet.

    Muhlenberg declined to play down

Fair enough then. It did make me wonder, though.

Define Insanity: Attempting the same thing (Discussing Cooper/Conner playing up) over and over expecting different results.

I have asked this question on a different thread but is this horse dead yet? Nine pages of posts on a question that has been decided and nothing posted here is going to change it. Nonetheless,, it does make for some interesting reading. I really enjoy the conspiracy theories that have surfaced

I've asked the question also and has never been answered and that question was why does it bother some so much? The only thing I have come to is that Boone Co HS fans are upset
because they drop from 4th best 6A team in NKY to 6th best. I mean, why else would anyone be upset? It's the only thing that makes sense to me since the others refuse to answer the question.

They act act as if Cooper and Conner were hoarding 5A state titles every year, I didn't want to break it to them that they haven't won one, so they aren't leaving anything behind by moving up.

Maybe that was the rationale for playing up. They aren't winning anyway, so why not get all our schools in the same class.

Maybe, who knows. the question still is out there though as to why it bothers some so much? That has never been answered yet.
