Dalton Cook at Lynn Canp is having a heck of a year. Competition leaves a bit to be desired but he’s running well against everyone that’s been put in front of him.

Hunter Lacks (106 ypg, 9 TDs) is having a great year for Raceland. Judd Adkins (88 ypg, 5 TDs - had 1,000 yards last year) is another great back for the Rams. He missed the first three games of the year, so he's a little behind, statistically. Hunter carried the load early on for Raceland in Judd's absence. They cut into each other's carries now that Judd's healthy. Raceland basically has two feature backs sharing carries.

Malichi Corley from Campbellsville, cause he does more than run the ball...
    52 carries for 682 yds
    19 receptions for 423 yds
He is a Runner and plays the Back posistion...

Logan Castleman does everything, but sell popcorn at halftime.
No back in Class A has faced the schedule that he has. He plays RB, Slot Receiver, Safety, and does all the punting. When Josh Derry went down with an injury, he has had to take over almost all of the ball carrying duties.
These other guys mentioned are good backs, but give me Castleman.

I’ll take Will Ryan from Bellevue. 1001 yards on 107 carries this year. I coached him in pee wees. Excellent speed and athletic ability.

I don't think there is any doubt about the performance of the year by a 1A back. Here is what Logan Castleman did against a top 10 6A school:

24 carries for 220 yards and 2 touchdowns

4 receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown

An interception from his safety position.

All punting in the game for Beechwood.

Perhaps the game saving play with a a heads up play on an onside kick, batting the ball out of bounds.

Are you sure?? I thought I saw him behind the counter while the band was playing. Oh well, could have been his old man. They look a lot alike
