It will be hard to replace Mason Compton, Will Latimore and QB Justin Kline.

Walton will be younger this year but has a good amount of young talent coming up.

Several other as well but may take a little bit to gel this group.

Did I read that list right? Only one kid returns over 6 feet tall? Wow.

That was from last years roster they might have grown.

Zach Clinkenbeard is around 6'4". There are a few of the other Freshman that have grown and are probably around 6' or a little more now.

Good weight room for this off season has already helped.

Walton lost a lot of great seniors from both sides of the ball which will be tough to replace. That said, the Walton kids always play hard and are technically sound. I forecast another successful season for the Bearcats.

I'm sure Coach Barth and his staff will have these kids in great shape and well prepared to have a great season

Coach Barth will have these players ready but it may take some time for them to gel. Youth is a plenty for WV this year but this group is hard working as any they had I hear.

Walton has obviously lost some great talent in the senior graduating class. The under classman stepping up is a normal for Walton, now Senior Halsey Page will be a big running back coming off a good season and hard working in the weight room. QB?? That is the question I think Walton is asking themselves right now, who is going to be under center. Evans will be another good back for Walton as well. Hunter Ruber will be a 4 year starter heading up the defense for Walton, 6'0 227 LB FB but has only played defense so far, is Barth deep enough to keep him on one side of the ball only. Others to mention to watch will be Pettyjohn, Smith, Hammond, Townsend, Stammer. Coach Barth and his staff will put together another good season

Walton Verona is to the point where their rebuilding years will still be a pretty good team. Maybe not as good as last year at least in the beginning but maybe by the playoffs.
